"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Dearest Blessings~
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! :-) This is Joshua's third Christmas and Grace's first Christmas! :-) How exciting!
Grace, you noodled into our bed by midnight. Joshua, however, never came whimpering into our room early this morning. He usually comes in around 3am or 4am. It's a Christmas miracle. ;-) Grace woke up early though, so I was nursing her by 5:30am. Joshua woke up at 6:40am. We pulled him into our bed and we all snuggled together in bed on Christmas morning! What a wonderful way to start Christmas! ;-)
Oh, Grace, you can now crawl up the stairs by herself! Whoa! You sure are getting big fast!
People got here around 10am. We saw Gigi, Grandpa Jim, Uncle James, Mimi, Grandpa Mike, Uncle Brennan, and Aunt Katie. You two got so many toys! We have a lot of thank you cards to write! ;-)
By 1pm, we were ready to make our cookies for the ICN (Intensive Care Nursery) staff. We made the dough earlier, so we just had to put them on a sheet and bake them. We made snickerdoodle cookies! Yummy! We made over 100 of them and put them on three different plates for the nurses. Plus, Gigi, Mimi, and Betsy (Aunt Katie's mom) all added cookies and treats for us to deliver. We had a whole box and bag full of treats! They loved it and took our picture! They all saw how big you all have gotten. Little lady, I told the lactation nurse that we were still nursing and she was so impressed! Little man, the nurses were so proud of you and how healthy you are! They love seeing 'graduates' come back and visit. It really meant a lot to them (and me) that we were able to see them today on Christmas. It truly was one of the highlights of the day! :-)

We were home with clean diapers by 4:30pm. We went upstairs to play, nurse Grace, and watch the Charlie Brown's Christmas special. :-)
Daddy and I were talking in the car, and we both agrees that, so far, this has been the best Christmas ever .... for several reasons!
- This was the first one we've hosted
- The whole family was together .... both sides
- It's Grace's first Christmas
- We got some great gifts ;-)
- We went to the ICN and spread some Christmas cheer to people who truly save lives
- We had a wonderful and relaxing evening together as a family
We have so much to be thankful for! Our blessings are overflowing! :-)
Sleep tight little ones!
I love you both so much! :-)
Merry Christmas!
~Mommy
