Great Eating

Dearest Blessings~

Whew .... we were up early this morning!  You two had clean diapers, clean clothes, ate breakfast, and I had finished an elliptical workout by 8:40am!  I did another 30 minutes and 3.5 miles!  Woo hoo!

You two had snack time after and we were back upstairs playing by 9:30am.  We got ready and left at 10:15am to make it to Joshua's feeding therapy appointment with Krista.

Little man, you ate really well at this appointment!  You ate all the chicken and sweet potato that I had cooked!  You probably had about 1.5 tablespoons of both and really liked the chicken!  I was so proud since I had cooked it all!  Plus, you ate your yogurt!  Whoa!  Prior to the appointment you were weighed .... 27.4 lbs!  :-)

We got home in time to quickly straighten and then Quinn came over.  She had an earlier opening today so she saw you at 1pm instead of 4:30pm.  You did great Joshua!  You imitated and repeated a lot of words and sounds!  She taught us some more signs and you even said some words with no prompting or signs.  :-)

We went upstairs after and I ready you all two stories before naptime.  You two were snoring my 2:40pm.  While you two were sleeping, I entered the state fair's photography contest again.  So, we have two months to decide what photograph we want to enter!  You two are my inspiration, so you all also need to encourage me in taking photos!  :-)

You two helped me make a healthy dinner again.  We made some chicken with spinach, corn, and onions.  We used our sweet potato side from yesterday.  I also made some mac and cheese for you two and Joshua ate a lot!  And, he fed himself!  Joshua, you also asked for water at dinner with words and signs with no prompting!  Wow!  :-)

There was more Olympics this evening!  We watched some diving, swimming, and gymnastics.  Joshua, you said some more words with no prompting .... bubbles and water.  Grace, when are you going to start talking with little words?

I have a Bible verse I'd like to share with you two.  This was a part of my daily reading:

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
James 1:19-20

I'm sharing this with you because I wasn't a good mommy today and wanted to let you know that I was 'quick to anger' today with you two.  I could easily blame it on 'lack of sleep' or 'being tired' but honestly, there's no excuse for me getting mad at you all.  I hope you two forgive me because I'm honestly sorry.  I felt so bad when little things got me mad and started to cry when I thought about it again.  I'll try to be a better mommy because you two certainly deserve it!  I love you both so very much!

Grace, you crawled into Joshua's bed again this evening and fell asleep.  You two talk to each other in bed.  It's cute!  After awhile though, you ended up noodling into bed with me .... oh well!  ;-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Ok Eating

Dearest Miracles~

Grace, you're making it more of a habit to crawl into Joshua's bed at night to fall asleep next to him.  You did it again last night.  ;-)  I got up at 4am to use the restroom, so I checked on you two.  You were both curled up in Joshua's bed.  But, at 5am, you both came crying into our room.  :-P

Once everyone was up and moving, I took advantage of your playtime again and completed 30 minutes on the elliptical and 3.5 miles!  Woo hoo!  Afterward, you two had a good snack time.  Joshua, you had 8oz of applesauce and Grace had 4oz of yogurt.  I had a string cheese.  ;-)  I then took a quick shower as you two played near me.  We were all relaxing and watching the Olympics (rowing, swimming, and some beach volleyball) by 10:20am.  We had to leave by 11am for Joshua's speech therapy appointment with Kim.

You did well with Kim, little man.  We're still working on two syllable words.  You'll pronounce your last syllable but not the first.

We were home by lunch.  You two ate an 'ok' lunch .... cheese, hotdog, and turkey.  Joshua, you probably ate a little more than Grace.

As you two played after lunch I prepared for dinner.  I cut up some sweet potatoes and mixed it with corn and spices.  We baked it closer to dinner time, but it saved us time in the evening.

Afterward, we had nap time upstairs, with minimal resistance from you two!  I ran some laundry as you two were sleeping .... pillow cases, sheets, and comforters.  I was resting by 3am and put my feet up while you two were still sleeping.  :-)  It started to storm at 4:30pm and you all were awake watching the rain with me.

You two helped me make a healthy dinner.  We made beef with pasta and baked our sweet potato/corn mix.  You two didn't eat a ton, but daddy also gave Joshua some yogurt as well.

This evening was filled with more Olympics!  Grace, you were a pill this evening with bedtime.  You kept crying and screaming up until 9:30pm.  :-P  My oh my!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Family Goals

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Joshua, you noodled into our bed around 2ish this morning.  Grace, you (on the other hand) slept in your toddler bed all night and then went downstairs with daddy at 7am with no crying!  You usually wake up grumpy!  :-P

Guess what .... we saw a deer in the backyard today!  He was really close to our house do daddy was able to get a nice picture!  :-)

We all got ready in the morning and actually made it to church early!  Go us!  Gigi was playing in the praise team so you two got to see her on percussion.  We also saw Grandpa Jim and Uncle James while there.  You two drew with Uncle James.  I brought some snacks so you two ate in the back of the church.

Afterward, we went to Target for our groceries.  Remember how we didn't get to go shopping yesterday since you two were grumpy?  :-P  Well, you two were fine today and each ate three cookies while there.  We were home by lunch.  Grace, you napped once we got home, but Joshua ended up eating a little with us.

Grandpa Jim, Gigi, and Uncle James ended up coming over this afternoon and watched some of the Olympics with us.  You two had art time and Joshua ended up drawing all over himself with a green marker.  :-P

Daddy and I worked on some family goals this afternoon.  We hung some magnetic boards up in the kitchen to encourage each other on what we want to work on.  We have everything separated into four categories:

*Physical - workout schedule so we can stay healthy for you all
*Spiritual - daily Bible reading and encouragement to make it to church on sundays
*Mental - hobbies so we don't get stressed (photography, music, art)
*Family - date nights and outings as a family

It's a work in progress, but I think once we get the hang of everything, it's really going to help us as a family.  It's easier to reach goals when you have a support system.  So, we're all going to encourage each other!  :-)

We had dinner out at an Italian restaurant.  We saw Mimi, Grandpa Mike, Uncle Brennan, and Aunt Katie.  You two ate some pasta and pizza .... but not much.  You two ended up eating a little more food once we got home.  :-P  You two had fun seeing everyone.  You played around with the spoons and forks.  Grace, you liked to put the spaghetti on like a necklace.  ;-)  Mimi made Grace some dresses .... she's working on something for Joshua.

We got home a little after 7pm and watched the Olympics for the rest of the evening until bed time .... Go USA!  :-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Grumpy In Store

Dearest Angels~

You two fell asleep together in Joshua's bed again.  Cute!  Grace, you came into our room at around 2am though.  Joshua, you slept until 6am!  Whoa!

Once everyone was up and moving, we had a nice family walk .... 2.5 miles to the shops and back.  We put you two in the wagon, though Grace fell asleep trying to sit up on the way back home.  Daddy mowed the lawn as you two had your snacks once home.

After snack time, we headed out to run some errands.  We went to Lowes first and looked at rugs again for the downstairs.  We found one that would fit the space, and within our budget, but it wasn't in stock.  Ugh.  So, we headed to Shane's for some lunch.  Little man, you ate well .... some chicken, mac and cheese, and fries.  Grace, you ate some but you mostly played around with the spoon on  your plate.  :-P

We tried to get some things done at Target afterward, but you both ended up getting grumpy while in the store.  So, we packed you two back up and headed home.  We weren't about to fight you two to get grocery shopping done.

Once home, we relaxed in the playroom and watched some of the Olympics!  This is the 30th Summer Olympics!  London is hosting it.  The Olympics are held every 4 years.  This is your first Summer Olympics Games .... Joshua, you saw the Winter Olympus 2 years ago.  :-)

Oh my .... Joshua, you're starting to teach your little sister things now.  Joshua, you said the word 'apple' and Grace repeated it!  Woo hoo!

We cleaned the playroom and did more laundry with the Olympics on this afternoon.  Joshua, you drew on the couch with an orange crayon .... so we threw that cushion cover in the wash.  :-P

You two helped us make a healthy dinner.  We created our own recipe and made chicken with bread crumbs mixed with mustard, honey mustard dressing, and corn.  Then, we made a potato and cheese side.  It was really good for making up the recipe!  ;-)  Joshua, you ate the potatoes with us and then you helped to feed yourself some applesauce after having  some yogurt.  Grace, you refused a lot of food.  :-P

After dinner, we played upstairs more and watched more of the Olympics.  :-)  It started to storm so we got to see some lightning and hear thunder.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Lots Of Music Time

Dearest Blessings~

Guess what .... 5 years ago today daddy and I got engaged!  Woo hoo!  Now, we have two beautiful children and another on the way!  God is good!  :-)

We saw some hummingbirds on our feeder this morning!  We need to put new food in there.  Since everyone was awake early this morning, we got a lot of chores done.  We paid some bills and got them in the mailbox, started some laundry, cleaned the kitchen, swept and vacuumed the downstairs .... all before 7:45am.  ;-)

Joshua .... your lower primary second molars (teeth #K and #T) are finally erupting!  Woo hoo!  :-)

While the laundry was going, and you two were playing, I was able to go 30 minutes and 3.5 miles on the elliptical!  Woo hoo!  Daddy and I are trying to create a workout goal/schedule for us.  We've been pretty good this week (daddy has been going to the gym at work).  We're starting slow so that we stay motivated.  And, I don't want to do anything too much for baby biscuit.

We played upstairs with music on after snack time.  We did some art time with crayons.  Then, we headed downstairs.  You two had a good lunch.  Then, we played with play do'h and put more music on.  You two had nap time in the bed room since it was warm in the playroom.  I'll be glad when this heat is over.  We all piled onto Joshua's bed and I told stories to you both.  I was getting tired myself!  Ha!

Grace, you woke up before Joshua.  Once you were awake, I took a shower since you were following me into the bathroom anyway.  Joshua, you ended up waking up while I was in there, but I was almost done.

You two helped me make a chicken with rice dinner.  You both tried some and Joshua also had a container of yogurt.  We listened to more music while eating until daddy got home.

It got dark fast outside during dinner.  Then, it stormed.  We listened to the thunder while upstairs.  You two had a nice bath before bedtime.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Stickers

Dearest Precious Gifts~

Grace, you crawled into Joshua's bed last night and you two fell asleep together!  Ha!  Joshua eventually woke up around midnight, or 1am, and came into our room.  I checked on Grace at 2am and she was still sleeping in Joshua's bed.  She woke at 5am.  :-)

Everyone was awake and playing this morning.  So, you both gave me kisses and hugs before work!  I love your hugs!  They're so precious!  ;-)

You all had fun with Penny today.  For art time today, you put stickers on our windows.  Not all of them belonged on the windows, so we had to do a little bit of cleaning.  :-P  Then, you all made 'hats' out of paper towel rolls.  ;-)

Joshua, you had a good appointment with Quinn today for speech therapy.  She used flash cards for words/sounds.  She told Penny that she would leave some for us to use, and practice with, for next week.  Also, Quinn got a long email from Kim to tell her all the things you all had been working on.  Sounds like the two of them are on the same page on what to focus on and to teach you.  Quinn said you were doing wonderful and is willing to try everything that she asks.  :-)

I got home around 6:45pm.  Daddy made a pizza for dinner.  You two gave me kisses when I walked through the door.

We played a lot with Play Do'h this evening!  Then, you all had a nice bath.  :-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Message From Patient

Dearest Miracles~

Both of you ended up in our bed last night.  We still got a good amount of sleep though since everyone fell asleep early last night.  ;-)

I got to kiss you both before work though Joshua was a late riser!  :-)  You two had fun with Penny while daddy and I were at work.  Joshua, you said 'cookie' for Penny today and she didn't prompt you!  Good job man!  :-)  You two also played outside a lot today .... you have evidence of that since you both have bug bites on you.  :-P

You all gave nice hugs and kisses when I got home.  Grace, you really like to give hugs now!  How precious!

Today we're 20 weeks gestation with baby biscuit.  A few people have given me name suggestions at work.  I'm still waiting for you two to give us some ideas.  ;-)

We had a patient draw on one of our clip boards today at work.  She wrote 'I "heart" the dentist' .... so cute!  It's nice to be appreciated.  ;-)

We all played some Wii games again this evening before bed.  It wasn't exercise, but it at least got us moving a little.  ;-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Lunch Out And Good Appointments

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Joshua, you managed to noodle into our room around 2:30am this morning.  :-P  Hummm, this is becoming a habit and I wonder why.

Once everyone was up for the day, you two helped me sweep the kitchen and downstairs after breakfast.  We also vacuumed.  Then, we headed upstairs.  While you two played, I did 25 minutes on the elliptical and 2.5 miles!  Woo hoo!  Daddy and I are trying to think of ways to get healthier for you two (and baby biscuit).  I'm starting slow with the elliptical machine, and I'd like to thank you two for playing nicely during that time so that I could get a work out in.  I know 25 minutes doesn't sound like much, but it's a step in the right direction.  :-)

Once you two had your snack time downstairs, we headed to Rex.  Joshua had a 10:30am appointment with the GI team for a follow up visit.  Joshua, you're now 27.3 lbs (10th percentile) and 35 inches tall!  Woo hoo!  They also took your blood pressure and head circumference.  You saw Maureen Kelly and she was very nice!  She was very pleased with your weight gain and I am too!  With your weight and height, you're actually 25th percentile on the BMI scale!  Wow!  She's going to keep your medications the same for now since we just started you on the Flovent.  We want to see if that makes a difference for you.  Then, we'll call the nurse practitioner in 2 weeks if we see any changes.  She may make an adjustment with your medications then.  Overall it was a really good visit .... she really took a good look at you and didn't want to put you on a lot of medications.  I appreciated that.

Once we left, we picked up lunch and headed to Gigi's work!  We had lunch with her and her coworkers.  Everyone thought you two were adorable and they were also excited about baby biscuit.  :-)  We got home around 2pm.  Joshua, you fell asleep in the car but woke right up once we got home.

While downstairs playing, I made my lunches for this week and cooked hotdogs for you all for this week.  We were upstairs and relaxing by 3pm.  We had one hour of free play and then went back downstairs to prepare for speech therapy with Quinn.  It started to thunder and storm while we were playing upstairs though.

You did great with Quinn today.  She had a student shadowing her so you got to meet Emma.  You did a lot of sounds and words with her.  We learned some new signs too.  You initiated some words with no prompting or signs!  You saw an apple and said 'apple' with no signs and you saw a bird in a book and said 'bird' when she asked 'what is this?'!   Way to go little man!  I'm so proud of you!

Daddy got home early around 5:15pm.  We had leftovers for dinner.  And, since you two ate well, you got to split a big cookie!  Oh, after dinner you two played your scream game back and forth.  Thankfully that didn't last long.  And, Joshua, you're trying to do somersaults now.  :-)

We all played this evening.  No one took naps today, so Grace ended up falling asleep before 8pm!  Whoa!  Joshua, you got a bath before bed.  Daddy signed 'water' in the tub and Joshua signed it and said 'water' to him!  Yippie!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Bowling Record

Dearest Blessings~

Joshua, you noodled into our bed around 2am or 3am this morning.  It was too early to look at the clock.  :-P

You two played this morning downstairs as I cleaned the kitchen.  We saw a deer in the backyard.  I was glad to see him so now we know the animals are ok from the heavy storm the other night.

I got motivated this morning and while you two played upstairs, I did 20 minutes and 2.5 miles on elliptical!  Woo hoo!  Baby steps in getting back in shape!  :-)

You two had a good snack time this morning.  Then, we were able to relax for about an hour before heading to see Kim for speech therapy.  You did well.  We're still working on two syllable words and making sure you make both consonant sounds.  We're also working on verbs.

We were home for lunch and you two ate well.  Then, we played downstairs for a little.  We headed upstairs after for story time.  You two really fought and fought naps!  I tried to get you two down for an hour and no one would go to sleep!  By 3:30pm, Grace finally went down!  Joshua, you didn't fall asleep until 4pm .... 2 hours after I started to get you two down!  :-P  Oh my!  Because you two fell asleep late, you woke late too.  Daddy got home late from work, so we all had a late dinner.  We also had a quick storm at dinner.

We all played this evening on the Wii gaming system.  Daddy played under Joshua's name and I played under Grace's name.  Guess what .... I scored a new record high on bowling, which actually went under Grace's character!  Ha!  I got 8 strikes .... 6 in a row .... to score a 247!  Joshua, you actually held the prior record at 222 .... which, ironically, was me bowling too!  Ha!  That was a long time ago so you held the record for quite some time!  :-)

I can feel little flutters every now and then from baby biscuit.  You two still need to help us think of some names for her!  ;-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you two so much!

Philadelphia Visitors

Dearest Miracles~

Wow!  We had a huge, loud storm early this morning!  There was lots of lightning and loud thunder.  It woke everyone up in the house!  You two came whimpering into our room at around 4am.  So, we just let you two stay in our bed the rest of the morning and everyone calmed down.  It was like 'The Sound Of Music' when the children came into the nannie's room scared from the storm.  ;-)

Everyone had morning baths and showers after breakfast.  We put Grace's prescription cream on her because her eczema is breaking out again.  Daddy gave Joshua his inhaler.

Afterward, we straightened up the house a little for company.  We had a lot of people come over for lunch!  Great Grandma, Great Grandpa, Grandpa Jim, Gigi, Uncle James, (Great) Aunt Peans, and (Great) Uncle Tom all came over!  We all got to visit for a few hours.  I took some photos of you all playing with everyone.  You two helped give everyone a tour of the house .... everyone loves your playroom!  They brought you two some toys!  Your (Great) Aunt Peans and (Great) Uncle Tom live in Philadelphia, so we don't get to see them that often.  They brought you two a book about the city, so we'll have to go and visit them!  :-)

Everyone left around 2pm.  You two calmed down (since you were excited with all the company) downstairs with some milk.  Then, you two laid down upstairs for a nice nap.  You two were snoring by 3pm.

Since you two fell asleep late, you ended up waking up late too.  We had leftovers for dinner.  Grace, you now sign 'please' and 'all done' when eating.  :-)

We made a quick trip to the grocery store, Harris Teeter, after dinner.  There was no milk in the house and we needed applesauce amongst some other small items.  We relaxed this evening and heard thunder, but we didn't have any storms.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

New BBQ Place

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Joshua, you came into our room at some point in the morning.  I ended up with insomnia for a long time.  I finally got up to walk around at 5am and then slept in Joshua's bed until Grace noodled around.

We ran you all's laundry this morning and put some music on.  We listened to some folk music and played.

Joshua, you had your first dose of Flovent this morning.  You cooperated so this may not be as bad as we think.  It's only for 2 months, so I hope all goes well.

We all helped to clean the downstairs this morning.  We cleaned the kitchen, dining room, and then vacuumed the living room.  Grandpa Jim came over briefly to drop off some food for tomorrow.  We're having a lot of company .... Great-Grandpa, Great-Grandma, (Great) Aunt Peans, and (Great) Uncle Tom are all coming over.  Yippie!  :-)  Grandpa Jim, Gigi, and Uncle James will also come.  :-)

We went to a new place for lunch today .... Big Al's BBQ .... it was so good!  You two ate well!  We dropped off the leftovers back at the house and then went to Lowes.  We looked at wall AC units for the play room, but didn't get anything.  I carried Grace around since she had fallen asleep, but then I had to sit and let Joshua and daddy look at rugs because my back was hurting.  :-P

Afterward, we went and saw Grandpa Mike and Mimi.  Grandpa Mike is doing well after his surgery.  He goes back to the doctor on tuesday for a follow up.  You two gave him the cards that you made with Penny this week.  :-)

We got home around 3:40pm.  Joshua, you napped as Grace played.  Then, you two ate well for dinner.  You both had some meat, cheese, and then a little cookie.  ;-)

Daddy read you two stories afterward downstairs as we listened to the thunder start to roll in.  Then, we went upstairs to watch the movie 'Toy Story 3'.  :-)  It really started to storm towards the end of the movie.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Day Out

Dearest Precious Gifts~

So, Grace, you ended up sleeping in our bed all night.  Joshua, you came in at some point during the night .... I have no idea at what time.  So, we all four ended up sleeping together.  You two kick and squirm, so it wasn't a very good night's sleep.  :-P

Once we were awake and up for the day, we played upstairs.  You two played with the blocks as I put some music on and did some laundry.

Grace, you're starting to cut some molars!  Teeth #L and #S (lower primary first molars) are erupting!  Woo hoo!  :-)  I felt them as I was brushing your teeth this morning.

Once you two had your snacks this morning (a cup of applesauce for Joshua and a yogurt container for Grace) we headed out for the day since I didn't want to stay inside.  ;-)  First, we stopped and got Joshua's inhaler medications.  We'll discuss this more with daddy tonight.  You're not coughing a lot now, so we're torn on starting you on it.

Then, we headed to the mall to stretch our legs.  Well, since I had you two in the wagon, I got to stretch my legs.  :-)  We made a few loops of the mall and went into a few stores.  We didn't get anything, though I got some ideas for birthdays and Christmas.  ;-)  Joshua, you kept wanting to go on the escalator, but we had to take the elevators since you two were in the wagon.  :-P

Then, we stopped at Chick-Fil-A in the food court for some lunch.  I got you two a 6 piece nugget meal with fries and you two gobbled it up!  I was so proud of you two!  You each ate 3 whole nuggets and then the fries.  I hide the fries so that you two would eat the chicken first .... and it worked!  You two would have just eaten fries if you had seen them.  :-P  Your meal came with a book so while there I read it to you both.  Then, we hoped back in the wagon and walked around a little more.

One department store was having a huge shoe sale so I thought we would lose Grace .... you love shoes little lady!  Whenever someone comes over and takes their shoes off, you try to put them on your own feet and walk around.  ;-)

We were home by 1:10pm.  Joshua napped as Grace played.  I tried to get her to nap, but that proved to be a fruitless effort.  :-P

Once Joshua was awake from his nap, we stayed downstairs to play.  I swept and vacuumed the downstairs and ran the dishes.  Then, I tried to organize a little in the 'dining room' which we don't use as a dining room for right now.

I folded laundry this afternoon as you two watched a 'Veggie Tales' show .... 'It's A Meaningful Life'.  It stared to thunder storm by dinner time.  We made a pizza and then daddy came home.  We all played this evening.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Fire Drill

Dearest Blessings~

Joshua, you apparently wandered into our room around midnight .... I was so tired that I didn't even wake up!  Daddy ended up putting you back to bed and laid down with you.  :-P

You were both up and playing as we were getting ready for work.  So, I got to kiss you two before I left.  :-)

You two had fun with Penny today.  You went outside early since it was a hot day.  You two also made little 'get well soon' cards for Grandpa Mike.  There was some trouble with his blood pressure and drainage this morning, so the doctors are keeping him another night in the hospital.  So, daddy went back to the hospital after work.  This time, Grandpa Jim and Uncle James came over to relieve Penny until I got home at 6:30pm.  They fed you all dinner before I got there.

We had a fire drill at work.  I thought it was exciting .... we had meetings this morning for organizational training and then they sprung it on us.  I was glad though since the first meeting was a tad boring so I needed to get up and walk around.  ;-)  Ha!

It thundered a lot this evening and rained.  We played and relaxed upstairs and listened to the rain.  Daddy was home by 8:30pm.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Cookie At Work

Dearest Miracles~

Joshua, you crawled into our bed around 2:30am this morning.  I went to sleep in your bed across from Grace.  You, little lady, stayed sleeping until 6:20am.

I got to play with your both before heading to work today.  And, we got to see a bunny in your backyard at breakfast!  :-)

I brought our cookie cake into work today that said 'girl' to represent baby biscuit.  We had a staff meeting today with dental and pediatrics, so the office manager made an announcement that we're expecting!  We're 19 weeks today.  Woo hoo!  You two need to help us figure out a name for your little sister.  ;-)

Grandpa Mike had his prostate surgery today.  It went well.  Daddy went to the hospital after work, so Grandpa Jim relieved Penny until I got home.  You all played with blocks and worked on your colors with him.  I got home by 6:40pm.  You two gave me kisses when I got home!  I cleaned the kitchen as you two finished dinner and played.  Then, we went upstairs to relax and play.

Grace, you fell asleep by 8pm.  I played with Joshua a little bit longer.  Then, I had you two in clean diapers, pajamas, and teeth brushed by 9pm.  I put the ladybug nightlight on and Grace immediately fell back asleep.  :-P  Joshua played with my hair as he was falling asleep.  Daddy was home by 9:20pm.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

All Around Town

Dearest Angels~

You two slept in your own beds last night though it took a long time for Joshua to fall asleep.  I laid next to him until 11pm until he was snoring.  :-P

What a busy day .... we had an early morning appointment at Rex to see the pulmonary doctor.  Remember how Dr. Freeman, the GI doctor referred us when we were at UNC last time?  Well, since we also had a feeding appointment later in the morning I tried to pack plenty of diapers and snacks for the day.

We saw the pulmonary doctor at 9am.  She checked Joshua's ears, throat, lungs, and heart.  They took some measurements including his vitals signs with blood pressure and oxygen level.  Little man, you're 35 inches and 26.8 lbs.

She gave us a prescription for flovent, an asthma medication, to help open your lungs up because of your 'chronic cough', thought you haven't really been coughing that much recently.  She suspects acid reflux is also the problem so next week they may adjust your prevaid medication too.  The flovent is given as an inhaler .... 2 puffs twice a day (4 puffs total).  They showed me how to give you the puffs to cover your mouth and nose making a good seal.  This will be a struggle but we'll get through it.  You only need to be on it for about 2, maybe 3, months.  Oh, and we need to wash your mouth out afterward so you don't get thrush (a yeast infection since the inhaler is a steroid).

We were done by 10:30am.  I took you two down to the lobby and gave Grace her yogurt and Joshua his applesauce.  I changed your diapers and then we headed back upstairs for an 11am appointment with Krista for feeding therapy .... busy busy!

Joshua you ate well today.  You ate about one tablespoon of my roasted butternut squash and one quarter of a chopped banana!  Plus, you ate your yogurt!  Wow!  Krista thinks you're looking healthy and you're starting to show good growth on the chart .... slowly.  ;-)

We were back in the car by noon.  I had to change Grace again since she pooped.  :-P  Then, we were home by 12:30pm.  You two played as I quickly ate a lunch .... I was starving.  Then, I made my lunches for work this week as you all ran around the downstairs.

We were upstairs and playing by 2pm.  Then, we were downstairs and playing by 4pm.  We vacuumed the living room before Quinn came over at 4:30pm.  You did well for her little man.  You all played with blocks and you're still working on 'up' and 'open'.  We learned the sign for 'block' and you signed for 'fish' crackers at the end of the appointment all by yourself!  Whoa!  Good job!

Once Quinn left a little after 5pm, we packed up and headed to Gigi's for dinner .... daddy had a meeting after work.  We also saw Grandpa Jim, Uncle James, and Lois while there.  We ate a nice dinner and then played and visited.  You two got to see Uncle James's fish and snail.  Uncle James put on a puppet show with a lizard.  And, Joshua worked on his sounds and words.  It rained while we were there.  Oh, they're having their house painted so we got to see some of the work.  It's a pretty green color so I'm excited to see the finished product.  Green is my favorite color.  :-)

We were home by 8:40pm and you all wanted chocolate crackers.  :-P  We had a quick snack and then headed upstairs.  I got you two ready for bed before daddy got home at 9:20pm.  But, daddy brought home a cookie cake for us since we had such a busy day!  We'll have to snack on it tomorrow!  ;-)

I love you both so much!

Video Games

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Joshua, you never fell asleep last night .... again.  You were wide awake!  You ended up sleeping in our bed all night.  Little man, you kick and squirm all night!  Daddy and I didn't get much asleep at all.  I was so tired when I woke up this morning.

I put some CDs on upstairs as we played this morning.  We had a rude awakening from the mailman as we played.  Our neighbor (not Sarah) likes to park one of his cars (we think it's his son's car) in front of our house and it blocks and mailman from getting to our box.  That car has been driving me crazy for a long time.  Well, this morning, the mailman literally pounded on our front door and repeatedly rang the doorbell to tell me to 'move my car!'  I told him over and over that it wasn't our car but the neighbor's.  Long story short, that dumb car will prevent us from getting our mail if he doesn't move it.  He said he would go next door to tell them, but I have a feeling this will go on for a while.  Ugh.

Once that was over, we headed to Target before Joshua's speech therapy with Kim.  We picked up a cookie cake and had the baker write 'girl' on there in pink!  I'll bring it into work on wednesday.  I've brought a cookie cake to work for each pregnancy to tell them the gender.  :-)  Then, we headed over to Kim's.  We'll continue to see her on monday's and will see Quinn on tuesday's and thursday's.

You did well for Kim.  She's also working on the 'p' sound.  You were able to repeat some verbs with prompting.  We were home by 12:45pm for lunch.  You each had a hotdog and then some chocolate crackers.  We played downstairs afterward and I cleaned the kitchen.  I put on a CD for some music.

We went upstairs afterward for some story time and then naps.  Once naps were over, we made dinner, swept, and vacuumed the downstairs.  We made chicken and rice, but I made some chicken nuggets and fries for you two.  :-)

Grace, you're getting taller.  You can climb into and out of chairs by yourself.  But, you still need help with getting onto the couches.

We all played this evening on the Wii video game system.  We did some bowling, golf, sword fighting, and basketball.  I played under Grace's name and daddy played under Joshua's name.  We had a lot of fun!  :-)  Afterward, we finished our bluegrass concert on the television and then headed to bed.

I love you both so much!

Card

Dearest Blessings~

Whoa .... we all slept in until 7am.  Well, actually .... Joshua, you never fell asleep last night since you had a late nap.  So, daddy ended up falling asleep next to you.  Then, Grace, you woke up early in the morning and crawled into their bed too.  So, I don't think you all slept that well .... but, I had a king size bed to myself!  Ha!  ;-)

Once we were up, we got ready for church and then headed to Holy Cross.  We saw Grandpa Jim while there.  You two played in the nursery during the first part of the service and the sermon.  Then, you all came out for a blessing at communion and saw everyone.  Fr. and Mrs. Gibson were so glad to see you both!  We told everyone about baby biscuit .... everyone is so excited!  :-)

Afterward, we met Mimi and Grandpa Mike for lunch.  You two gave Grandpa Mike his card.  He's having prostate surgery, so you all made a card that says,

'About time you took care of that 'Pro-State' bias .... love, your little TarHeels, Joshua and Grace'

He thought it was funny.  We walked around a store afterward to stretch our legs.  We were home by 2:30pm.  You two had story time and then you two fought naps.  :-P  Joshua, you eventually fell asleep, but Grace never did!  So, we played as Joshua napped.

You two both ate well for dinner.  You both had an entire container of yogurt and then an entire hotdog for dinner.  Yippie!  We saw a bunny in the backyard during dinner, so afterward we went outside and played in the yard.  We also got some yard work done too.  Then, we played inside the rest of the evening.  We put a bluegrass concert on the television and then headed to bed.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Deer And Bunny

Dearest Precious Gifts~

We were able to sleep in a little this morning.  Woo hoo!  We played a little upstairs after breakfast.  I put a CD on as we got ready for the day.  You two helped us fold laundry from yesterday.  And, daddy played the banjo for you all.  :-)

Oh, guess what .... we saw a mommy deer and two babies in the backyard during snack time!  They were so pretty!  :-)

After snack time, we went to Target for our groceries.  You each ate a cookie.  ;-)  Joshua, you were a little fussy while there.  We were home by lunch.  Joshua, you ate with us as Grace napped.  She woke as daddy was cleaning the floors downstairs.  He placed a coating on the hardwoods downstairs since it's gotten a little scratched.  :-P

You two fought naps, but eventually you both fell asleep. Unfortunately, that made for a later dinner.  As dinner was cooking, you two got to 'face time' with Aunt Katie and Uncle Brennan.  They're at the beach this weekend and next week.

We had a nice dinner .... pasta and meat with a side of broccoli and corn.  Grace had already eaten a lot when she woke from her nap.  Oh, and we saw a bunny in the backyard during dinner.  :-)

Afterward, we played upstairs.  I took some photos of you all playing since I wanted to practice with my new flash.  Slowly I'll get the hang of it.  ;-)  You two made a card for Grandpa Mike.  He's having surgery this wednesday so daddy helped you two color a card for him to bring to the hospital. Then, you two had a bath before bed time.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Boy, Girl .... Girl!

Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, and Baby Biscuit~

Wow .... everyone slept in until 7am this morning!  Woo hoo!  Thanks for the extra sleep!  :-)

Once everyone was up, we had breakfast together and then packed the diaper bag for the day.  We had an early morning OB appointment for a doctor's check and our ultrasound.  We met Gigi, Uncle James, and Mimi for the appointment.  Gigi and Mimi went to the ultrasounds for Joshua and Grace too.  Uncle James helped watch you two in the exam room and also got to see little baby #3.  :-)

Today we are 18 weeks and 2 days gestation.  The ultrasound was measuring baby biscuit at 18 weeks and 4 days .... so everything looked good and healthy!  Praise God!  We all got to hear the heart beat .... 149 beats per minute!  And, we got to learn if you all are going to have a little sister or little brother .... little baby #3, who's only 9 ounces right now .... is a girl!  :-)  Joshua, this means you will be the 'man of the house' and Grace will have another little princess to play with.  ;-)

Daddy and I can't be happier that we're expanding our family!  We love both of you so much .... you two are both blessings and miracles from God!  And now, He's blessing us with another miracle!  We continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy for little baby biscuit.  ;-)

We quickly had daddy's car inspected afterward and saw Grandpa Jim to tell him the news.  Everyone is so excited!  Then, we met back up with Gigi, Uncle James, and Mimi at the mall.  We had lunch together and celebrated the good appointment.  Then, we walked around the mall.  You two rode in a toy car, but Grace ended up getting scared.  ;-)

Back home for diapers story time and nap time.  We also picked up Grace' prescription on the way home .... it was her eczema cream in case she flares up again.  By the way, your legs are looking SO much better!

Grace, you fought nap time.  So, you played around as Joshua napped.  We did some laundry and watched a little television.  It was so much fun to have daddy home on a friday .... he took the day off to be together as a family after the appointment.  :-)

We made a good dinner this evening .... eggs, bacon, and toast.  Then, we went for a walk afterward.  We did our usual 2.5 miles with you all in the wagon.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so very much!

P Sounds

Dearest Blessings~

Joshua wouldn't fall asleep last night.  So, I slept next to him in his bed all night.  I think I might have fallen asleep before you little man.  ;-)

Grace, you a had temper tantrum this morning when Joshua wouldn't share the potato head toy.  You cried and cried until you saw Penny come in.  :-P

You all had fun with Penny again today.  Quinn came back this afternoon.  We're now working on your 'p' sounds.  So, that's our homework over the weekend.  She gave you both little stickers afterward.  :-)

I was home by 6:30pm.  Daddy made a pizza for dinner.  You two gave me kisses when home.  Grace, you got in trouble at dinner .... you kept throwing your sippy cup on the floor.  :-P

This evening we played.  Tomorrow is our ultrasound.  We're all excited!  Daddy and I are just praying for a healthy baby .... the gender doesn't matter to us as long as it's healthy like you two!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Television Mount

Dearest Miracles~

Everyone was up at 3:30am!  Grace, you kept crying but eventually went back into your own bed to sleep.  Daddy stayed with Joshua.  :-P

You both were awake and playing this morning.  I got to kiss you all before work!  :-)

You all had fun with Penny today!  You had story time, music time, and made an art project.  Then, you all had outdoor play.  Today was cooler so it felt nice .... it wasn't in the 90's or 100's!  Woo hoo!  ;-)

Today we're 18 weeks gestation with baby #3.  ;-)  We have our ultrasound on friday to see if you all will have a little sister or little brother.  When I got home from work today, you all gave me kisses!

We got our television mount in the mail today, so Uncle Brennan and Aunt Katie came over this evening to help us mount it on the wall.  :-)  They brought over their new puppy .... Rooney!  He's only 10 weeks old and so cute!

Once we organized some things around the bonus room it was bedtime.  :-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Banana And Strawberry

Dearest Gifts~

You all were awake by 7am.  Joshua came into our room around 1am and stayed there through the night in our bed.  I stayed in his bed across from Grace.

After breakfast you two played as I made my lunches for this week.  When we were done, we played upstairs and then ran some laundry with some music going.  I put some CD's on and listened to some folk music.  :-)

We all watched our potty video again.  Then, we had snack time downstairs and played.  Joshua, you started screaming because you got frustrated with your words.  I tried to have you say 'all done' and you kind of went ballistic.  :-P  You calmed down after awhile and used your words.

Then, we went upstairs for story time.  We read about 6 books since Joshua kept bringing them over.  We had a quick lunch and then packed up for our appointments and errands afterward.

I dropped off Grace's prescription (an eczema cream) and then swung by Grandpa Jim's office to drop something off.  You all got to see him briefly.  :-)

Then, we headed to Rex Hospital for Joshua's feeding appointment with Krista.  Little man .... you're now 27 lbs!  Woo hoo!  You're 6.5 lbs heavier than Grace.  ;-)  You did well .... you ate some non pureed banana pieces .... we had to show you the pieces and tell you to chew though.  You also ate some yogurt with pieces of strawberry inside.  We had to tell you to chew again.  :-P

We were home before 4pm.  We all had a small snack time and then cleaned up before Quinn got here.  We're having home therapy for speech therapy this week.  Kim's out of town and we're moving in this direction for home therapy.

Joshua, you did great with Quinn!  She's so nice!  She signed everything for you and gave us signs to work with for homework.  You'll see her again on Thursday with Penny.

We all had leftovers for dinner when daddy got home.  Our seat covers came in the mail today for Oscar the van.  ;-)  I was able to install them and set up your car seats before it started to rain.  Then, we all relaxed and played this evening.  :-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both very much!  :-)

Build A Bunny

Dearest Precious Gifts~

Whew .... we were up early for Grace's pediatrician appointment.  It was just a check up, but we had to leave the house at 8am to make it on time.  I tried to give Joshua some applesauce before leaving for the appointment.  But, he ended up with the most massive projectile vomit I've ever seen.  Yuck!  I almost threw up myself.  :-P  I couldn't even clean everything because we were then running late at that point.  You were playful afterwards, but I still gave you some tylenol little man.

Little lady, you had a good pediatrician appointment.  Grace, you weigh 20.5 pounds (you got to stand on the 'big girl' scale with your clothes and diaper on so I'm sure you're 'actually' a little less), you're 31 inches tall, and your head circumference is 45.5 cm.  You're in the 10th percentile for weight (which Dr. Medero said was fine since that's where you've been since 9 months) and 50th percentile for height.  I guess you'll be tall and thin.  ;-)  You got three booster shots and I gave you some tylenol while there.  You cried, but calmed down after a minute.  I think it helped that Joshua was there talking to you.  ;-)  Your legs and arms are looking so much better.  Dr. Medero said they were eczema patches.  She gave us a prescription for a stronger steroid if it gets worse, but the over the counter cream has been helping.  We need to make sure we keep you moisturized!

Dr. Medero was a 'little' concerned about your speech since you still babble a lot.  Since Joshua's in speech therapy, she wants you to go ahead and be evaluated as well.  I'll talk to one of the speech therapists and see if someone can do an evaluation for us.

We were done early, so we headed over to Mimi's house since she was free and texted us.  We were there by 10am.  You all had a little snack and then we headed to the mall.  We ate at the Cheesecake Factory.  You all split chicken strips and fries .... though it ended up being mostly fries.  :-P  Then, we went for a walk around the mall and stopped at the 'Build-A-Bear' store.

You two each picked out a bunny to build.  Joshua, you dressed your bunny in a car outfit.  Grace, you dressed your bunny in a Minnie Mouse outfit.  Joshua, you went first to build your bunny.  You helped put the stuffing inside and then put a heart inside.  Grace was a little timid, so when it was her turn, she put a heart inside and then Joshua put one in there too!  Ha!  Grace's bunny has an extra heart inside .... I guess it's for the new baby!  ;-)

We went home afterwards and you two continued to nap.  I tried to clean up from the vomit episode from earlier in the day.  And, I ran the laundry.

After naps, we watched our potty video again.  As you two were watching, I organized my camera bag since the flash I ordered came today!  I got it used at a good price.  :-)  Daddy was home a little early.  We all had leftovers for dinner and then had play time.  I took some photos of you two before bedtime.  :-)

Potty Video

Dearest Miracles~

You two slept all night in your own beds!  Woo hoo!  Joshua, you woke at 6:40am and Grace was still sleeping at that time.  That hardly ever happens!  ;-)

We took advantage of the cooler morning and went for a 2.5 mile walk.  You two were in the wagon and we just kept you all in your pajamas since it appeared no one else was awake in the neighborhood.  ;-)  We were home by 9:20am for snack time.  Joshua, you had applesauce and some teddy grahams.  Grace, you had some yogurt and banana chunks.

We all played downstairs after.  Once we finished, we went upstairs and did some laundry.  I cleaned my camera lenses.  I'm going to try to get back into photography and you two need to encourage me!  When I started to get 'morning sickness' I didn't feel like doing anything but laying down.  So, I've been slack for the past two months!  Now that I'm feeling better, we need to take more photographs of you all.  I downloaded the entry form for the State Fair in case we want to enter another photograph!  Daddy may enter a drawing too!  He's very artistic!  :-)

You all had leftovers for lunch with daddy and I.  Then, we played a little downstairs.  It was already 97 degrees outside!  Whew!

Story time was upstairs and then we all ended up taking a nap!  Afterward, we made dinner.  Yummy .... we had a pasta and meat sauce mixture with roasted corn, asparagus, and butternut squash on the side!

You all watched a 'potty' video with Elmo this evening.  Grace, you got a little bored, but Joshua watched the whole thing.  I think we'll try to watch it each day so you two understand what the potty is and start to explore it more.

Everyone played downstairs afterward.  You all had fun with blocks and crayons.  I took some photos of you all with daddy.  Then, we relaxed until bath time and bed time.

Tomorrow Grace has an early morning pediatrician appointment, so rest up!

Sleep tight you two!

I love you both so much!

Got Stuff Done

Dearest Angels~

Today is (Great) Uncle Laurence's birthday.  He and Gigi are three years apart (she's younger) but almost born on the same day!

You all were awake at 6:45am this morning.  I guess that's better than prior mornings.  :-P

Before it got really hot out, we went for a walk this morning.  We did our usual route past the shops and back .... about 2.5 miles.  Grace, you fell asleep in the wagon.

Once we were back, we had a quick snack and then headed to Target for groceries.  You two ate a few cookies and then fell asleep on the ride home.  You stayed sleeping as we unloaded the groceries .... we placed you two on pillows in the living room.

While you two napped, we knocked out a few more chores around the house.  We ....

*vacuumed and swept the downstairs
*programmed the garage door openers in the van
*set up a picture of you two as my 'wallpaper' in the van
*vacuumed and swept the upstairs including the bonus room
*took out the trash in the house
*did several loads of laundry .... this went on all evening too  ;-)
*backed up the laptop

Grace woke up as we were working, but Joshua continued to nap.  She ate a little and then played around.

We made a great dinner!  We had potatoes au gratin, spinach salad, with roasted corn and butternut squash.  Yummm!  You two poo-poo'd it though.  Grace, you did eat some corn.  Joshua, you ate leftovers.

We all played downstairs after since it was cooler than upstairs.  You all rolled and passed balls back and forth with us.  Once it wasn't so hot, we played upstairs and then headed to bed.  I hope this heat doesn't late much longer.  I'm tired of the highs being over 100 degrees.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Bowling Fun

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Today is Gigi's birthday!  Woo hoo!  I won't tell you her age, but it has two 5's in it.  ;-)

You two were up early again .... before 6:30am.  This surprised me since you all go to bed so late.  :-P

But, since you all were awake, we got ready for the day early.  We were at the Honda dealership by 9am.  Oscar (I've affectionately named the minivan 'Oscar the Odyssey' for now) needed to have his splash guards installed and I needed to turn in the extra key to the Escape (since I didn't have it with me last weekend when we traded it in).  It only took about 30 minutes.  We played in the kid zone.  Joshua, you ate a cup of applesauce at 8am before we left, but Grace ate a little bit of popcorn with me (I broke up the pieces).  You all played with blocks and colored with some crayons.

By mid morning we were at Gigi's house.  We gave her the birthday card you all made and she loved it.  We also got to visit with Uncle James and (Great) Aunt Beth who was in town from Wilmington.  We had lunch there and then you two fought naps.  :-P

You all played after nap time and then saw Lois and Grandpa Jim.  You two also drew with (Great) Aunt Beth.  Joshua, you went over flash cards and words with Uncle James.  :-)

We had a thunderstorm early in the evening, but we didn't let that damper our birthday fun.  We all headed over to the bowling alley for some fun!  Daddy met us there after work!  Lois, daddy, Gigi, and (Great) Aunt Beth all bowled.  I bowled a few frames and even got a strike since you two were cheering me on!  Gigi tied for first place in the first game!  Happy Birthday to her!  You two had fun watching, eating, and walking all around the alley with Grandpa Jim and Uncle James.

We did end up getting home late.  Grace, you were fussy since you were tired, but you all finally settled down and were both snoring by 10pm.  Whew!  What fun!  Maybe we can sleep in tomorrow morning.  ;-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Hopping

Dearest Precious Gifts~

Grace, you noodled into our bed around 5am and cried and cried!  Ugh!  Talk about no sleep!  Joshua, you came in around 6am.  I guess I didn't need to set an alarm this morning to get ready for work.  :-P

When I got to work this morning, the computers were down, the compressor was down, the phones were down, and the air conditioner was down!  Ugh.  Nothing came back online until 10am.  I just wanted to come home to you all!

You all had daddy day today.  Grace, you drank from a straw for daddy today as he held it.  Joshua didn't really try.  :-P  You two also read books with daddy.  Mimi came over for lunch and some play time.

Grace, you're getting tooth #Q .... your lower right primary lateral!  It's barely erupting, but I'm sure it won't be long before you get the one on the left side too.  ;-)

Joshua, you can jump now!  We've been working on that for your gross motor skills.  You can now hop up and down from a flat surface!  Woo hoo!  Grace, you're trying to jump too!  It's so cute!

I got home around 6:20pm.  Daddy made a pizza for dinner.  You all gave me kisses.  We played this evening and relaxed.  Grace, your rash looks a 'little' better.  I think it's eczema.  We'll see what the pediatrician says on monday.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

4th and 17

Dearest Blessings~

Happy Independence Day!  Today we celebrate when our Founding Fathers put the Declaration of Independence into effect .... and therefore proclaimed our freedom from England!  Woo hoo!  And, we have the day off!  ;-)

Also, today we're 17 weeks gestation with little baby #3.  You two will have to help us think of a name.  Next week is our ultrasound.  :-)

This morning we had some playtime.  Grace, you like to get Joshua to chase you around the house and then you both giggle.  ;-)  Oh, we saw a bunny in the front yard this morning as we were eating breakfast and playing.

Once people were fed, we did some chores around the house and cleaned up the place.  Daddy cleaned the bathroom and we did the laundry.  We were overdue on all the sheets and pillow cases in the house.  But, they're all clean now!  We also organized the play room.

You both had a good snack time.  Joshua, you had a full cup of applesauce.  Grace, you had a container of yogurt.  Afterward, we had some art time with crayons.  We made Gigi a birthday card .... her birthday is on friday!  :-)

For lunch, we decided to do something fun.  So, we went to the Village Grill restaurant and you all had a little bit of chicken, fries, chips, grilled cheese, and cookies!  Wow!

Unfortunately, you two both really fought naps!  It was close to 3pm before you two were snoring!  Daddy and I ended up laying down with you two also since we were all tired.  We had a thunderstorm during naptime, so that woke me up.  :-P

During dinner (we just had leftovers) we made sugar cookies!  Some got a little brown, but they still tasted fine.  ;-)  We played downstairs afterward and then headed out for a walk in the wagon.  We went about 2.5 miles and saw more bunnies while out.

We all relaxed when home and then you two had baths.  We listened to fireworks go off as we drifted to bed.

Tomorrow I head to work, but daddy will be here with you two!  I'll come home as soon as I can!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Hot But No Rain

Dearest Miracles~

You two were both awake and playful this morning!  I gave you both kisses before heading out to work.

Grace, you show more interest in dressing yourself.  You try to put shoes on by yourself and and you help when I put tops and bottoms on you.

As usual, you all had fun with Penny today.  You all had 'star' tattoos on your hands for the 4th tomorrow!  I got home at 6:15pm!  Woo hoo!  We all gave each other kisses when I entered the door .... that's always the best part of my day!  ;-)

It thundered this evening as we played .... then we saw some lightning outside!  We didn't really get any rain though.  It's been so hot recently that we really need some rain.  It's been in the 90's and some times right at 100 degrees.

Tomorrow is Independence Day so we all have off!  Woo hoo!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!
