Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, and Baby Biscuit~
Wow .... everyone slept in until 7am this morning! Woo hoo! Thanks for the extra sleep! :-)
Once everyone was up, we had breakfast together and then packed the diaper bag for the day. We had an early morning OB appointment for a doctor's check and our ultrasound. We met Gigi, Uncle James, and Mimi for the appointment. Gigi and Mimi went to the ultrasounds for Joshua and Grace too. Uncle James helped watch you two in the exam room and also got to see little baby #3. :-)
Today we are 18 weeks and 2 days gestation. The ultrasound was measuring baby biscuit at 18 weeks and 4 days .... so everything looked good and healthy! Praise God! We all got to hear the heart beat .... 149 beats per minute! And, we got to learn if you all are going to have a little sister or little brother .... little baby #3, who's only 9 ounces right now .... is a girl! :-) Joshua, this means you will be the 'man of the house' and Grace will have another little princess to play with. ;-)
Daddy and I can't be happier that we're expanding our family! We love both of you so much .... you two are both blessings and miracles from God! And now, He's blessing us with another miracle! We continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy for little baby biscuit. ;-)
We quickly had daddy's car inspected afterward and saw Grandpa Jim to tell him the news. Everyone is so excited! Then, we met back up with Gigi, Uncle James, and Mimi at the mall. We had lunch together and celebrated the good appointment. Then, we walked around the mall. You two rode in a toy car, but Grace ended up getting scared. ;-)
Back home for diapers story time and nap time. We also picked up Grace' prescription on the way home .... it was her eczema cream in case she flares up again. By the way, your legs are looking SO much better!
Grace, you fought nap time. So, you played around as Joshua napped. We did some laundry and watched a little television. It was so much fun to have daddy home on a friday .... he took the day off to be together as a family after the appointment. :-)
We made a good dinner this evening .... eggs, bacon, and toast. Then, we went for a walk afterward. We did our usual 2.5 miles with you all in the wagon.
Sleep tight little ones!
I love you both so very much!
~Mommy
