Whispers

Dearest Gifts~

Grace, you slept a little bit better this morning.  You woke up at 4:15am.  Daddy changed your diaper and then I nursed you back to sleep.  Joshua and daddy woke back up a little after I went back to sleep.  When I brought you downstairs, daddy was making pancakes for breakfast.  :-)

Once people were ready for the day, we followed daddy to get his car inspected.  We dropped his car off and then the four of us went to Target to get some groceries for the week.  Plus, we wanted to stretch our legs and it's been really hot recently to go walking outside.

We were home by lunch time and daddy made some pumpkin bread!  It was good!  And, the best part is he made several loaves so we have enough to snack on during the week.  ;-)

Joshua, you helped daddy and I finish folding the laundry from yesterday.  Grace, you fell asleep during tummy time and took a quick nap.  You fell asleep sucking your fingers.  I hope you grow out of that habit.  If you don't, you'll reposition how your teeth will erupt and change your palate shape.  :-P  You're still young, so we have time to work on that.  ;-)

We watched another exciting World Cup soccer match.  This time it was England against France.  The game went into penalty kicks and France won.  That means, if we beat Brazil tomorrow, we'll play France in the next round.  We also watched the Germany vs Japan game.  This game also went into over time, but we didn't record the whole game.  Afterward, we looked up who won .... it was Japan.

Joshua took a late nap this afternoon for 2 hours.  We played with Grace and then I nursed her.  Grace transferred a yellow ring between her hands and did more tummy time.

Joshua, daddy and I have noticed something about you .... if we whisper something to you, you'll whisper back.  It's pretty cute!  I did this with you this evening while we were in the play room.  You also grabbed my hair twice and pulled very hard!  It hurt little man!  You were kind of grumpy this evening.  :-P  Oh, you also like to throw things over the baby gate and down the stairs.  There are also toys in our tub that you've thrown in there.  :-P   We're trying to teach you to gently put things down, but it's a slow process.

Tomorrow we're going to celebrate Gigi's birthday!  We're making breakfast foods for lunch!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both!

~Mommy
