Forty Six Weeks

Dearest Joshua David~

Hello little miracle!  Today you are forty six weeks old!  Next month, you'll be one year!  Have you told people what you want for your birthday yet?  Well, keep thinking about it and let me know.  ;-)

Today is Family Friday!  Woo hoo!  That means daddy had off so we got to spend the whole day together as a family!  :-)

This morning, you and daddy went with me to work.  The dental clinic is closed today, but since we added another part time dentist (who's starting in 2 weeks), the marketing department wanted new photos of us to update the webpage and brochures.  And, they wanted you to be in some of the photos to show a "knee-to-knee" examination that we do on little children!  So, after they took pictures of the providers (three dentists and one hygienist), we did some photos of you with me holding you in the chair!  Everyone thought you were cute!  You cried during the exam, but they still got some photos of you playing with the toothbrush before we leaned you back to see your two teeth.  ;-)

Afterward, we went to the mall to have some lunch together.  You fell asleep in the stroller.  Daddy and I ate at Kanki, a Japanese restaurant where the food is cooked right in front of you.  You woke up once the "show" started.  So, after we ate, we gave you a bottle and then walked around the mall.

Once we got home, daddy clipped your nails and you played with your toys.  Daddy was tired, so he fell asleep next to you, and you eventually fell asleep right on top of  him.  It was really cute!  I watched a little television show on my laptop on the couch until you two woke up.

I gave you a bath this evening, and you were really fussy during it.  You were fussy for your last bath too.  I wonder if this is a new thing because you never fussed before.  Hopefully, you won't fuss for your next bath, or I might have to have daddy give it to you.  :-P  But, your fuzzy hair after bath time is so cute!

Daddy cleaned the laundry room and the litter box this evening, then we did a load of laundry.  You played on the bed with your toys.

You tried prunes mixed with apples today.  This was the first time you've had prunes.  You were fussy, so I only have you a third of the container.  But, then you took the whole bottle.  Do you dislike prunes?  I won't blame you!  We'll try again tomorrow and see if you still won't eat them.

You are really starting to crawl now!  We'll need to put up baby gates soon to keep you safe!

This evening we watched another episode of Fraggle Rock.  It's so cute watching you clap and giggle when the muppets are singing and dancing!

Sleep tight little angel!

I love you very much!  :-)

~Mommy
