Pumpkin Bread

Dearest Joshua David~

Hello little treasure!

This morning daddy and I did a lot of chores .... we vacuumed the house .... swept the kitchen .... cleaned and wiped the kitchen .... did all the dishes .... dusted and cleaned the living room fan (that was so dirty!) .... daddy organized the study .... you played the entire time downstairs next to us.

Once we finished, we got ourselves ready for the day and headed over to Mimi's house.  We got there around lunch time.  It was cold and rainy as we drove over there so we bundled you up in a little fleece with jeans.  You were so cute in your outfit!  ;-)  You got to show Mimi and Grandpa Mike how you wave now!  You had a bottle of formula and milk and then you took a little apple juice from a sippy cup before we left for lunch.  We went to a restaurant around the corner from Mimi's house (The Tap Room), which you've been before.

Once we got back, daddy and Grandpa Mike helped Mimi organize some things around the house and to move some furniture around.  Your (Great) Aunt Allyson gave Mimi a crib to use, so they put it together and set it up in one of the bedrooms.  I rocked you in a rocking chair as they worked and you eventually fell asleep on me (you never took a morning nap).  We placed you on Mimi's bed and you two took a little nap.

You didn't sleep long (about an hour).  But, after you woke up, we packed you up and then headed back out for a quick grocery run.  I carried you on my back in the carrier and every now and then you tried to pull my hair.  :-P

We came home and you had another bottle while daddy made pizza for dinner .... then, he made some homemade pumpkin bread!  It was good!!  And, he made two loaves so we have a lot of leftovers.  Yummm!  :-)

This evening we all relaxed and played in the bonus room.  You crawled all over us and waved your little hands.  You also babbled a lot.  :-)  After some time, you fell asleep in my arms after I rocked you.  Daddy and I gave you little kisses as you slept.

Sleep tight little precious!

I love you so very much!  :-)

~Mommy
