Dearest Gifts~
Grace, you cried and were congested all night. You woke about every two hours. Ugh. When everyone else was up, you were still sleeping so I tried to let you sleep in as much as possible so you'd rest.
Once people were up for the day, we headed to Target for our groceries. Joshua, you really hurt my feelings this morning because you didn't want to hold my hand in the parking lot. I forced you so you'd be safe but you cried. :-P We were home in time for a quick applesauce snack and diaper change. Then, we headed out to meet Aunt Katie and Uncle Brennan for lunch.
We ate at the Village Grill again. You two split the mac and cheese, though you ate more of the cookies than anything else. :-P
After we ate, we headed over to a flower nursery. You two had fun walking around all the flowers and trees. Joshua, you collected sticks. You two were getting fussy towards the end though. We helped pick out a cherry blossom tree for Aunt Katie and Uncle Brennan. Their youngest puppy, Liam, was attacked by neighbor dogs the other night, so we wanted to get them something to plant near where he is buried. :-( We'll have to go over to their house and see the new tree.
We were home by 2:30pm. Joshua, you napped but Grace fought it and didn't nap. Actually, you were warm and crabby little lady. I gave you some tylenol, but you didn't have a fever.
Then, once Joshua was waking up, daddy and I started to feel sick! We had a bad stomach bug all night. Ugh. Two stomach bugs and one congested child .... this wasn't a fun evening.
