Stir Crazy

Dearest Joshua David~

Hello little precious!  Today is day two of camping out in the bonus room while the floors are being done upstairs.  You slept ok in our 'bed' last night .... the three of us are camping out on our mattress on the bonus room floor.  You kept tossing and turning at one point and waking me.

Once we were all up, you had your usual breakfast of cereal and apple juice and then you and I camped downstairs again the rest of the day.  The floor guys, Mike and Jose, came at 10am and stayed until almost 4pm.  Wow!  They got a lot done though.  They placed the floors down in the master bedroom, the hall way, and part of the back bedroom.  They still need to finish the front bedroom, the closets, and the quarter round border that goes along the edges.

They placed tape in areas to help with the tar and glue.  There was so much banging today!  I was getting so stir crazy hearing that banging hour in and hour out!  Plus, we were contained in a small area of the house.  :-P  But, better to do it all now before Peanut comes and our schedules are more hectic.  ;-)

I read a lot and we played a lot together.  You didn't really have much of a nap today with all the noise.  You ate a whole container of yogurt (strawberry/banana) and some peaches for lunch.  You also got some Christmas cards in the mail.  :-)  Oh, and we saw a deer outside in our backyard at lunch time!

After daddy came home, we had some pasta for dinner (I had already fed you) and then we went to the grocery store really fast.  It was super cold out and the weather forecasters keep saying we may get snowy weather soon so we needed to get some things before hand .... we were running out of milk and other items.  

When we got back home, daddy and I started to eat some of the birthday cookie cake that daddy got me!  :-)  I got some birthday money in the mail today too!  What do you think I should get little man?  :-)

We relaxed in the play room this evening.  The floor guys are coming again tomorrow, but Penny will be here with you since I'll be at work.  Do you also know what tomorrow is .... your homecoming anniversary!  You came home from the hospital one year ago tomorrow!
