Pizza Buffet

Dearest Blessings~

We had another early morning OB appointment with baby biscuit this morning, so Uncle James came over to watch you two.  Grace, you were really sick and congested.  Joshua, you were congested but playful.  I gave you both medicine this morning.

Our appointment went well.  Basically, we had no changes as far as effacing or dilating.  We're still effaced 50% with no dilating.  We're just over 38 weeks gestation.  My weight is holding strong at 169.2lbs (still haven't broken 170lbs - woo hoo!) and my blood pressure was 100/74.  No protein in the urine and our uterine height is 40cm.  Baby biscuit, your fetal heart rate was 140.  So far so good!  We have our last OB appointment next friday and then the C section on 12/12/12.  We'll continue to see if we make it that long!  ;-)

You all were playing Wii games when I got home at 8:45am.  We all relaxed a little and then headed to speech therapy with Gloria.  Joshua, you're still practicing and working on 'h' sounds at the beginning of words.  She was impressed at how far you've come.  Uncle James, Grace, and I played in the lobby.  Grace, you ate a little .... which was good since you really hadn't eaten all day.

We went to lunch at a pizza buffet around the corner.  Grace was pretty crabby.  Neither of you ate a lot.  Both were congested and warm, so we headed to Gigi's house right after for diapers and more medicine.  You both went down for naps pretty quickly, which was nice since I was tired too.  I ended up dozing a little next to Grace.  ;-)

Uncle James had decorated Gigi's house for Christmas.  There was a tree up with stuffed animals all around for you all to play with.  Some of the ornaments on the tree were from when Uncle James and I were little!  And, there was a little tree off the side that had pictures of us when we were kids!  There was garland over the doorway and the piano was decorated too with Christmas music books out.

Gigi came home from work early.  Joshua woke up, but we left Grace to nap as we visited.  Grandpa Jim came home around 5pm.  Grace was up by then so we all visited and played.  You both ate a little but were still congested.  We got home around 6:30pm and we ate a little with daddy.  We all relaxed this evening and you two rested.  Daddy and I gave you all more medicine before bedtime and then Grace got really fussy at 9:30pm.  Ugh!  I hope this doesn't turn into a long night.  :-P

So, how did we do with our november family goals?  I can already tell you that I was pitiful with mine.  Once I was told I was 50% effaced, I didn't continue with my workout goal because I didn't want to start dilating!  Ha!  Also, I slacked on my 'mental' goal as well.  Here's how we did:

Spiritual:
Goal - church twice a month .... accomplished 100% of goal
Goal - daily Bible reading .... accomplished 100% of goal
Family:
Goal - family outing once per quarter .... accomplished 1 outing
Goal - date night once per quarter .... have not completed (this is the first month in the new quarter)
Mental:
Goal - photography practice 3 times a week (mommy) .... accomplished 50% of goal
Goal - guitar/banjo practice 3 times a week (daddy) .... accomplished 100% of goal
Goal - read a book a month (daddy) .... accomplished 100% of goal
Physical:
Goal - exercise 3 times a week (mommy) .... accomplished 42% of goal (yikes)
Goal - exercise 4 times a week (daddy) .... accomplished 75% of goal

Oh well .... I'll likely change my goals for next month too.  There's no way I'll be able to workout with having a C section.  I did really well reading those this month to try to relax a little before biscuit comes .... I read 4 books!  Go me!  ;-)

I love you both so much!

Subwoofer

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Guess what today is .... it's Aunt Katie's birthday!  Woo hoo!  We'll celebrate with her on the weekend since we'll be at work all day today.

Joshua, you had a coughing spell starting at 3am this morning.  Daddy and I gave you some medicine at 3:30am when we realized you weren't able to stop it on your own.  I was so tired when my work alarm went off this morning.  :-P  Grace, you were awake this morning as I was getting ready for work, but Joshua was still sleeping.  So, I gave him kisses as he snoozed.  ;-)

Both of you all had more medicine with Penny.  You all made some crafts with her too .... you all made more ornaments for the tree.  Grace, you apparently impressed Penny with your fine motor skills.  Quinn came over for speech and you did well, even though you were congested little man.  I feel so bad for you two.

I got home late .... it was around 6:50pm.  We had a baby shower at work for baby biscuit from my coworkers.  Wasn't that nice?  :-)  Everyone is so excited for us!  I only have two more working days left .... next wednesday and thursday .... then, I'm on maternity leave until March 6th!  Woo hoo!

We all ended up relaxing this evening and ran some laundry.  The Christmas gift that we ordered for daddy came in the mail today and he saw it!  Poo!  Of all the days for it to come it arrived on a day that he came home earlier than me so I couldn't intercept the mail.  :-P  Anyway, we got him a subwoofer, so now we have a huge box in the bonus room with a 12" subwoofer inside.  Daddy thought it was funny that I didn't actually know it was going to be that big.  I thought it would come in a small box that we could hide in a closet!  Ha!  Anyway, he likes it, so we'll have to hook it all together to make sure it works.  Perhaps we should find something small to get him so he actually has something to open on Christmas.  ;-)

Everyone got more medicine tonight before bedtime.  I hope you all feel better soon!

I love you both so much!

38 Weeks

Dearest Blessings~

Today we are 38 weeks gestation with baby biscuit!  Woo hoo!  We're definitely in the home stretch now!  Two weeks from now we'll have our C section .... unless something happens between now and then!  Our next appointment is this friday so continue to pray for a healthy little sister!

You two were still both congested last night.  No one really slept.  :-P  Grace, you were really congested this morning and grumpy as daddy and I were getting ready for work.  We gave you some medicine and then you rested on Penny when she got here.  Joshua, you were still sleeping when I left for work, so I gave you kisses as you snoozed.

Neither of you ate for Penny today.  She gave you all some more medicine too as daddy and I were at work.  You two did have some fun though .... you made and decorated a gingerbread man cookie and made some ornaments for the tree!  :-)

I got home around 6:20pm.  You two were coughing but playful.  This evening we all relaxed.  We felt a lot of baby biscuit movements and kicks.  My coworkers are taking bets if we'll make it to our due date.

Everyone got more medicine before bedtime.  I hope you two feel better soon!

Cuddles

Dearest Miracles~

We had a late start this morning.  You two were up a lot in the middle of the night.  Grace woke up crying several times.  You both as still congested with runny noses.  I gave you all more medicine this morning.  It's a good thing we picked up some medicine the other week.  You both ate more though .... you each ate your cereal at breakfast.

Once you all ate, we cleaned the downstairs and vacuumed around the Christmas tree.  I put the lights on as you all were playing.  :-)

Then, we went upstairs and watched some Mickey Mouse and you two sat on the couch and rested.  Then, some Sesame Street came on.  It was the only way I could get you two to rest and not run around though I don't like just having the tv on.  I took some photos of you two.  My head was getting clogged too, so it was nice to relax on the couch with you two.  We ate a little lunch together, but Joshua didn't eat much.  Grace ate half a banana and some cereal.

After lunch, we went upstairs for nap time.  Grace fell right to sleep.  Joshua, you noodled around and rested.  I laid next to you both and ended up dozing for about 45 minutes .... I set an alarm first though!   ;-)

By 2:30pm we were in the van on the way to our 3pm speech appointment with Gloria.  You did well little man.  She's also working on more 'h' sounds and gave us some homework.  Grace was congested and laid on me.  A lady came by and said she remembered those days when her children still cuddled.  I love when you two are cuddly!  :-)  I know one day that will end, so I hope to enjoy it as much as possible now!

We made it home by 4pm.  We had some snacks and I made my lunches for work.  I started on some dinner before Quinn got here at 4:30pm.  She worked on words with ending 't' 'p' and 'f' sounds.  She also thought you were doing well and have come a long way!  If there's anything we especially want to work on we just need to tell her.  Oh, and she loved our Christmas tree.  We had the lights on during the appointment.  ;-)

We finished dinner at 5:30pm.  I called daddy, but he was on a conference call until late.  So, he didn't get home until 7pm.  We had already eaten, but we had dinner all prepared for daddy when he walked through the door.  We made eggs, bacon, and biscuits with BBQ chicken inside.  I got the recipe from a commercial.  :-)

We were upstairs relaxing with Mickey on when daddy got home.  It was nice to sit down!  Today was a colder day and it was raining after dinner.  You were both still congested this evening, so everyone got more medicine before bedtime.

I love you both so much!

More Congestion

Dearest Precious Gifts~

As soon a Joshua woke up this morning, he threw up.  It was mostly phlegm.  I cleaned everyone and then put everyone in clean clothes and diapers.  I didn't push you all with breakfast since you all didn't feel well.  You all ate a little but not much.  Grace had a runny nose.  Everyone got medicine this morning.  Then, we watched a Mickey Mouse episode to relax.

Then, we headed out for Target.  You each ate a cookie while there.  We picked up a Christmas tree and a wrist brace for myself .... my right wrist feels sprained.  :-(  We then saw Grandpa Jim briefly.  He had a few things to pass along to us .... some more carnation/shake for Joshua's milk (adds calories) and the extra carseat that Gigi borrowed last week.

After we left his office, we headed to speech therapy with Kim.  You did well little man.  We're still working on 3-4 word phrases and words that begin with 'h'.  She gave us some more homework too.

We made it home for lunch.  I cooked you all fresh hotdogs but neither ate much.  Joshua, you were really not feeling well.  You both were congested with runny noses and watery eyes.  Poor little things.  I gave you all a second dose of medicine.  Joshua, you fell asleep pretty early.  Grace, you played a little and then napped.

I read and then rested once you two were sleeping.  I've read four books this month, which is quite impressive for me.  But, I haven't done my other family goals.  :-P  I've slowed down with baby biscuit's arrival coming soon.

Once you all were awake, we cooked dinner together.  We made some chicken, rice, onion, corn, carrots, and broccoli.  You two were still congested with runny noses.  So, you all again didn't eat much.  But, we didn't push you all either.

We played with puzzles until daddy got home and listened to Christmas music on the radio.  After dinner, daddy helped us put up the new Christmas tree and lights downstairs.  It looks great!  We have a little angel on the top.  :-)

Everyone relaxed this evening.  I downloaded another book from the library onto my e-reader.  Everyone got more medicine before bedtime.  I hope everyone feels better soon!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Stocking Freezer

Dearest Angels~

Today is one month until Christmas!  Woo hoo!  Also, it's 2 weeks until my birthday!  Double woo hoo!  ;-)

We all ended up going to bed late and waking up early.  But, you two appeared to sleep well though.  We ate breakfast together and then got ready for church.  We saw Gigi, Uncle James, and Grandpa Jim while there.  Gigi played in the praise team.  She brought you two little magnetic doodle pads/pens.  So, you two drew during the sermon.  You all also ate some snacks.  :-)

After church we made a quick trip to Costco to stock up on some meats for our freezer.  They didn't have any good deals on Christmas trees, so we'll get one later.

We were home for a late lunch.  Then, we did a few chores after lunch.  We wrote some thank you cards for the Thanksgiving lunch, wrapped a few more gifts, and paid the mortgage.  Whamp Wha!  ;-)

You two each picked out some books for story time and then went down for some late naps.  Once awake, we ate dinner together.  You two didn't eat much though.  We stayed downstairs to play and also swept and vacuumed the floors and rugs.  Once back upstairs, we played and then you all fussed at 9pm because you all were hungry!  Ugh!  Why don't you two just eat at dinner time?  :-P

Oh, and Joshua .... you've started a new routine.  You have a temper tantrum everyday now.  Hummm .... we're going to have to stop that pretty soon little man!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Pumpkin Cookies

Dearest Precious Gifts~

Everyone slept better last night.  Woo hoo!  And, we all had a relaxing breakfast together.  Then, we headed to the grocery store.  You two each ate two cookies.  We got some extra things to make casseroles to freeze.  We're trying to prepare for when baby biscuit comes.  And, we got some more Christmas gifts for people.  We're almost done!

We were home for lunch and you two helped daddy and I finalize baby biscuit's name.  Joshua can say the name pretty well!  Daddy made pumpkin cookies as you two played downstairs and I cleaned the kitchen.  The cookies made the house smell good!  ;-)

I played a ball game with you two as the cookies were baking.  We worked on passing and catching.  We also rolled balls back and forth.  Grace was in and out of the games.  She got bored easily.  ;-)  Joshua, you liked crashing the balls together and called it a 'crashing game' .... Ha!

Once the cookies were done, we went upstairs for story time.  Grace was napping by 2pm.  Joshua, you didn't go down until 3pm.  Daddy and I read while you all napped.  I picked up my library book once Grace fell asleep and Joshua was just dozing off when I got back.  ;-)  Daddy also folded laundry and watched some UNC football.  It's the last game of the season and we won!

Once awake, we made dinner together.  We cooked sausage, corn, onions, spinach, pasta and put in a pasta sauce.  It was good!  Joshua tried some of the sausage but Grace didn't.  Since Joshua ate all his dinner, we played Wii games in the evening.  Grace helped me wrap the Christmas gifts.  :-)

Play Date

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Hummm .... more insomnia again around 1am.  :-P  Joshua ended up coming into our room around 2am.  Since I was already awake, I walked him back to his bed to lay down with him.  About two seconds later, I notice my other little roommate (Grace) following me into Joshua's room (she had fallen asleep between daddy and I).  So, the three of us ended up in Joshua's bed.  :-P

Grace, you fell back asleep on my arm.  Joshua, you stayed awake for a while and played with my hair to help you doze back off.  I woke at 6:30 to use the restroom and Grace ended up following me again.  We didn't really sleep that well all night, but at least we're on holiday vacation and didn't have to do anything today.  :-)  Daddy was off from work as well so we all slept in as much as we could.  We had a late breakfast and then played downstairs until mid morning.  Daddy ended up doing some yard work as we played upstairs afterward.

We all ate lunch together.  Grace, you still like to feed a stuffed animal your food before eating it yourself.  It's so cute!  I remember doing that as well.  Every once in a while Joshua saw you do it and he did it too.  ;-)

Joshua, for some reason it was a struggle to get you to finish your lunch.  But, you eventually ate it all.  Grace, you ate and then fell asleep on daddy.

By mid afternoon, (Great) Aunt Beth, Gigi, Uncle James, and Charlie came over for a play date.  You all had fun playing and running around with Charlie!  You all had some cookies and milk too.  We all went to Shane's for dinner and met Grandpa Jim there.  You all had some chicken, fries, mac and cheese.  Then, when we got home, the four of us relaxed and watched some Sherlock Holmes.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Thanksgiving

Dearest Blessings~

Happy Thanksgiving!  We have to much to be thankful for too!  Thanksgiving is always the fourth thursday in november.  This time last year we were relocated from our house .... remember, we had the hardwood floors placed downstairs.  :-)

I forgot to mention this, but you two can both get into your own carseats by yourselves!  Woo hoo!  Grace doesn't always do it.  She usually just gets into the van and then plays with the buckles in her seat while standing next to it.  :-P  But, even the fact that you two get into the van by yourselves is a big help!  Especially with baby biscuit coming soon!

I had bad insomnia last night.  I got up around 1am to use the restroom and I just couldn't go back to sleep.  After laying there a while, I started to get hungry.  So, I went downstairs and then read in bed.  I put the book down around 4am.  Ugh.  I hate nights/mornings like that.

After breakfast, we put laundry on and all watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.  We all took it easy and relaxed.  I almost dozed off.  ;-)  Daddy and I gave you two a later snack than usual.  We were going to have a late lunch, so we wanted to time the meal just right for you both.  Joshua had his usual applesauce and Grace had her yogurt.

We all met up with people for lunch at 1pm once the parade was over.  We got to see Mimi, Grandpa Mike, Uncle Brennan, Aunt Katie, Aunt Judy (Aunt Katie's aunt), Uncle Bob (Aunt Katie's uncle), Betsy and Alex (Aunt Katie's parents), and Rob and Casey (Aunt Katie's brother and girlfriend).  We ate at a restaurant near North Hills Mall.  There was lots of food and everything was so good!  Grace, you got grumpy though and wanted to be held most of the time.

From there we went to (Great) Uncle Laurence's house.  We got to see (Great) Uncle Laurence, (Great) Aunt Marti, (Great) Aunt Beth, cousin Erik, cousin Mia, cousin Christopher, cousin Stephanie, cousin Dean, cousin Charlie, cousin Madelynn, and Gigi!  Whew .... so many people today!  Uncle James and Grandpa Jim were in Asheboro seeing Great Grandpa and Great Grandma.

We all got to play and visit.  Everyone was still full from lunch, but you two still managed to eat a cookie while there.  ;-)  You two had a lot of fun running around with the other kids!  The bad news was that no one napped, so you all were getting grumpy by 5:30pm.

So, we headed out and were home by 6pm.  We ate a little, but not much.  Then, we relaxed and played upstairs.  We have so much to be thankful for!  I'm so thankful for daddy and my three children!  Daddy got to feel lots of baby biscuit movements today.  She must be getting excited to meet you two!  ;-)

37 Weeks

Dearest Miracles~

Today we're 37 weeks gestation and technically 'full term' with baby biscuit.  Anything less than 37 weeks is considered pre-mature.  Anything 37-40 weeks is considered full term.  And, 40-42 weeks is considered post term.  We'll definitely not go post term since we'll have a C section prior to then.

You were both awake as I was getting ready for work.  Daddy worked from home to watch you all.  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so Penny was with family today.  Which means, I only have to work today and then I'll have only 4 more working days until vacation (maternity leave).  ;-)

You all had a fun daddy day.  You all watched some Mickey Mouse and ate ok for daddy.  You all saw Mimi and went out for lunch.  You all made a gingerbread house, decorated a gingerbread man, and got haircuts.  I was a little disappointed that the back of Grace's hair was cut since it was getting a little long and curled, but you two both look so cute in your haircuts that it's fine.  ;-)

You two also saw Grandpa Mike briefly after lunch.  You two ended up napping for most of the visit.  Grace, you apparently fell asleep standing up!  Then you napped on Grandpa Mike.

I was home a little after 6pm.  I had to gas up Oscar the van on the way home.  I had a busy day at work and saw around 24 patients.  But, I'm off tomorrow and we have a long weekend together with daddy too!  Woo hoo!  It was good to be home!

We got more Christmas gifts in the mail today that we had ordered.  Maybe we can start wrapping them this weekend.   We played this evening and watched the next UNC basketball game.  We won!

I got an email that one of the library books that I put a hold on is now available.  We can pick it up this weekend.  I also have one downloaded on my e-reader.  We'll see how long I can keep up with reading.  :-)

I had more baby biscuit movement/kicks today.  Getting closer .... are you all getting excited?  :-)

Three Appointments

Dearest Precious Gifts~

Baby biscuit and I had an early OB appointment this morning.  So, Gigi and Uncle James came over at 8am to watch you two.  You all were eating breakfast when they came over.  :-)

The appointment went well.  We'll be 37 weeks gestation tomorrow.  Here are the usual stats:
Weight - 167
Blood pressure - 110/80
Baby biscuit fetal heart rate - 150
Uterine height - 38cm
No protein in urine
No change - cervix closed, no dilating

The doctor said we can stay 50% effaced for weeks, or can go quicker.  So, we're still up in the air if we'll make it to the scheduled 12/12/12 date.  If we start having contractions, or if our water breaks, I'm not suppose to eat or drink anything and to call them right away.  So, we'll see!  ;-)

I was back home by 9am.  You all were playing Wii games.  You both had runny noses so I gave you some more medicine this morning.  Grace, you were curled up with Gigi.  :-)

Everyone ate their snacks.  Joshua had his applesauce and Grace had her yogurt.  Then, you two played with Gigi and Uncle James as I cleaned the kitchen.  I picked up some McDonald's for lunch, but they ended up not giving us one of our kids meals.  Ugh.  We made do though and you two still ate well.  Grace, you got cranky though.

Uncle James and Gigi helped me move one of the second row seats from the van into the house.  This will make an easier access to the third row seating where you all now have your car seats.  Gigi then took Grace with her and Uncle James so she would fall asleep.  Joshua, you and I stayed here since Quinn changed our appointment time to an earlier appointment.

You did well little man with Quinn!  You did all your words and you put the words on a turkey.  Then, you got to color it for Thanksgiving.  :-)

Then, you and I loaded up to go to speech therapy with Gloria!  Busy busy!  You did well again, though at this point you were getting tired.  Our homework is to concentrate on the 'h' sound.  We have the rest of the week off from appointments because of the holiday.

You and I then headed to Gigi's house to pick up Grace.  Joshua, you fell asleep on the ride there, but woke once we got to Gigi's.  So, you two had snacks around 4:30pm.  We got to visit with Gigi, Uncle James, and Grandpa Jim.  You two played with toys and played on Gigi's piano, drums, and 'music bells' (her chimes).  ;-)

We made it home after 6pm and I quickly tried to put dinner on the table for you two.  Daddy didn't get home until 7pm.  Everyone had a busy day!  We had just enough time to eat, take a shower (me), and then relax upstairs for another UNC basketball game.  We played poorly for the first half.  So, we all got ready got bed at half time.  The second half was closer, but we still lost.  Oh well.  We'll play for third place in the tournament tomorrow evening.

I love you both so much!

Library Card

Dearest Angels~

Grace, you woke up crying, cried when I changed your diaper and clothes, cried as we came downstairs, and cried during breakfast.  I did't know what your little problem was.  :-P  Everyone was still congested this morning so we all got some medicine.  :-P

I was congested, and it was hard to breathe, so I skipped my bike routine.  I might be skipping a few more depending on how baby biscuit is feeling.  We're in the home stretch, so it's better to keep her safe than to push it.  So, we all relaxed on the couch and watched some Mickey Mouse together.  :-)

Everyone had a good snack time.  Joshua ate all his applesauce and Grace ate all her yogurt.  :-)

Then, we all got ready and headed to speech therapy with Kim.  Little man, you did well!  You worked on 2-, 3-, and 4- syllable words and phrases.  We're starting to incorporate pronouns.  And, we're still working on saying your name.  :-)

We made a quick trip to the library afterward and I got a library card.  I want to try to download books onto my e-reader.  We walked around a little, but was lunch time, so we headed home pretty quickly.  We got home in time for a late lunch.  You two ate a lot!  Wow!  Afterward, we had story time and then you all went down for late naps.

I took a shower and then downloaded my first library book on my e-reader.  Woo hoo!  Hopefully this will encourage more reading on my part.  :-)

Once you two woke, we cooked dinner.  We made eggs, toast, bacon, cheese, and fries (for you two).  When daddy got home, we all ate together.

This evening we played in bonus room.  We made a new train track design as we watched the UNC basketball game.  We won!  Woo hoo!  We play again tomorrow since this is a tournament.

Grace, you now have your lower right primary canine (tooth #R) erupting!  It won't be long before you get the others!

I love you both so much!

Christmas Shopping

Dearest Gifts~

Everyone appeared to sleep better last night.  We're still congested this morning but hopefully we're on the mend.  I had insomnia and went to bed close to midnight.  :-P

This morning we did a lot of chores after breakfast:
*Cleaned/organized playroom
*Swept floors upstairs
*Rearranged carseats .... we washed everything yesterday, so we put the seats back together today and moved you two to the third row in the van.  We'll put baby biscuit in the second row in an infant carseat
*Swept/vacuumed downstairs

We made hotdogs for lunch but Grace ending up napping while the three of us ate.  Once she was awake, we made a trip to the mall to walk around.  We got a few things for people for Christmas.  Then, we made a quick trip to Target.  We forgot a few things from yesterday and found a few more Christmas gifts there as well.  As usually, you all each ate two cookies.  Each person is 'suppose' to just take one cookie, but daddy and I always sneak two for each of you.  ;-)

It was around 4ish when we got home.  Daddy made pumpkin bread for work for tomorrow.  They're having their Thanksgiving celebration at his work tomorrow.  I worked on dinner.  I made chicken and added some Pad Tai sauce.  I kept some chicken separate for you two.

We played upstairs after but Joshua got really cranky from no nap.  This got daddy and I cranky too.  :-P  So, once everyone had another dose of medicine, we headed for an early bedtime.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Rearranging Van

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Today is World Prematurity Day.  Across the world, different buildings were lit up in purple in support of the March of Dimes!  It looks like they rose awareness concerning premature births.  I still can't believe how blessed we are that you two are so healthy, especially since Joshua was born at only 30 weeks gestation.

You two appeared more playful today, though you both still have runny noses.  I feel like I didn't sleep.  My ears are clogged and my throat hurts.  Poo.  :-(

We all played this morning after breakfast.  Then, we made our usual trip to Target for our groceries.  You all ate two cookies each.  Daddy got a coffee and I got a tea.  The tea helped my throat.  We got you all some more medicine while there since one bottle was getting low.  Then, we looked at the Christmas decorations and trees.  :-)

We were home for lunch.  As you two played afterward, I vacuumed out the van and brought your carseats inside.  Daddy stripped them for the laundry.  We'll go ahead and rearrange seats since biscuit is coming soon.  :-)

Once that was done, we all relaxed a little upstairs and then put you all down for a nap.  Grace fell asleep quickly next to me after reading two Thomas the Train books.  You were both snoring by 3pm.  I continued to nap next to Grace since I was still congested too.  ;-)

When you two woke up, we had some more playtime and then made some dinner.  Daddy and I finished the laundry and ordered some Christmas gifts online.  We're still not finished, but we're getting pretty close.  We're trying to get it all done before biscuit gets here.

Everyone got some more medicine before bedtime.  I hope we all feel better soon!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Pajama Day

Dearest Precious Angels~

No one really slept last night.  And, now my throat hurts as well.  :-P  Joshua, you threw up a little around 6:20am so daddy put you in the tub at 6:30am.  I stripped your bed and ran the laundry.  We gave everyone medicine and Vicks, changed your diapers, and put you all back in clean pajamas, and were downstairs by 7am.  I canceled your speech therapy appointment with Gloria little man.  We also canceled yesterday's with Quinn since you haven't been well.  Neither of you two ate a lot for breakfast, but at least you all were smiling and not grumpy.  :-P

By 7:30am, we were upstairs watching some Mickey Mouse.  Uncle James was here at 8am since I had an 8:30am baby biscuit appointment with the OB.  Overall the appointment went well.  We're over 36 weeks now (37 is considered 'full term').  My weight is 167 lbs, we had no protein, blood pressure was 112/60, and our uterine height is 37cm.  Baby biscuit, your fetal heart rate is 150.

We're now on weekly appointments with cervical checks.  Baby biscuit, your head is down, we have no dilating, and the cervix is closed.  But, Dr. Rush said that we're 50% effaced, so the cervix is thinning and stretching even though dilating has not started.  She's not sure if we'll make it to the 12th or not.  We didn't have any effacing with Grace, but Dr. Rush said it isn't uncommon since this is our third pregnancy for things to be going faster.  We could stay this way for a while, or go faster.  So, we just have to watch out for contractions or water breaking just in case!  Hopefully we make it, but I contacted Dr. Rickert (the other dentist I work with) just in case we go early.  Keep praying for little sister!  :-)  Our next OB appointment is tuesday.

I made a quick trip to the grocery store for cough drops and pizza for lunch.  I was home by 9am and Grace was resting on Uncle James as you two were watching cartoons.  You all had some cheerios as a snack around 10am and it was nice to see you all eating more.  And, we saw two deer in the backyard!

By 11am, we were upstairs playing.  I put you all in some new clothes since you all had been sneezing so much, clean diapers, and we did another round of medicine.  Grace, you napped during lunch and Joshua was napping by 1pm (Uncle James was back home).  Grace, you woke up as Joshua was napping and sat next to me on the couch.  Once you got hungry, we ate some crackers together.  Joshua, you joined us when you woke.

Then we watched some more Mickey Mouse to relax.  Daddy brought home some dinner .... chicken sandwiches and nuggets.  Grace didn't eat much.  You two still weren't feeling well.  My nose was runny all day too with a sore throat.  I hope this passes soon!  Everyone had some more medicine before bedtime.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Two Sick Kids

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

After midnight (the throw up incident) Joshua ended up sleeping through the rest of the night.  Whew!  I had a feeling we would be up all night.  Grace, you woke up crying as we were getting ready for work.  You sounded congested.  :-P  Great .... now you both are sick.  Poor little things.  Daddy and I gave you both medicine before leaving for work.

I got home around 6:45pm.  You all were upstairs with daddy.  I ate something quickly and you all came downstairs to greet me.

This evening we relaxed.  Joshua, your nose was runny, but you were playful.  Grace, you were quiet and sluggish.  You mainly laid on daddy.

We had lots of baby biscuit kicks today.  Our next appointment for her is on friday.  :-)

Joshua, you said the cutest thing tonight.  You kept talking about 'music bells' and it took me a little bit until I understood what was going on.  You were talking about Gigi's chimes!  How cute!

I wanted to share with you all part of the devotional from today.  It comes from Colossians 1:9 which states:

'For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you.  We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives'

The devotional said:

'I once heard a mother say, "When they're young, always talk to your children about God.  When they grow up, always talk to God about your children."  This verse reminds is to never cease praying for them.'

I thought that was a powerful statement.  Daddy and I pray for you all day.  We love you all so much!

Everyone got more medicine before bedtime.  I hope you all feel better soon!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Sickness

Dearest Blessings~

Despite the sickness and very late bed time ... it was 10pm before you both were completely settled and sleeping .... everyone managed to sleep through the night.  I was surprised!  I hope everyone feels ok for Penny today.  Joshua, you were still congested this morning so I gave you some more tylenol ad vicks before I left for work.

Today we're 36 weeks gestation with little sister, baby biscuit.  Our next appointment is friday.  We're almost full term, so we'll see what the OB says at the appointment.  Keep praying for a healthy little sister!

I got home around 6:20pm.  I giggled as I pulled into the driveway because your little Christmas tree lights were on and shining through the play room window.  I wonder what the neighbors think with a Christmas tree up so soon.  ;-)  Daddy had made dinner but you two didn't eat much today.

Joshua, you ended up being congested for Penny .... poor little thing.  Daddy left work a little early so he could pick up some extra medicine for you.  We tried to relax this evening since Joshua did not feel well.  You had some more medicine before bedtime.  I hate when either of you two are sick.

I thought you would sleep through the night again, but a few hours later .... just before midnight .... you threw up little man.  Daddy and I changed your sheets and gave you some more medicine.  I hope this sickness goes away fast!

I love you both so much!

Cranky

Dearest Gifts~

This morning was a late start for you two.  Though I didn't mind since I felt sick and had insomnia from 1am-3am this morning.  It did take forever for you two to eat breakfast though.  :-P

Today was a cold and rainy day.  So, we played upstairs with some Mickey Mouse on.  I did 40 minutes on the exercise bike and did some laundry.  Then, you two ate well for lunch and I cleaned the kitchen.

Quinn came early since she had a cancellation.  So, at 1:30pm little man was doing his speech therapy.  You did well, but you were hyper since you didn't take a nap.  We continued to work on three syllable phrases .... like 'table top.'  You're doing well little man!

We had just enough time for a quick diaper change after and then we headed out to pick up Joshua's Flovent Rx refill.  Then, we headed to our second speech appointment of the day with Gloria at 3pm.  She gave us more homework to put 4-5 word phrases together.  She was impressed at your 3 word phrases.  :-)

We got home around 4pm.  I made my lunches for work and then cooked dinner since I had the time.  You two had snacks and played.  Daddy was home around 5:0pm.  You were both cranky and hyper from no naps.  Ugh.  And, neither of you ate your dinner.  :-P

Once upstairs, we tried to play and daddy did new train track design.  But you two progressively got grumpier and crankier.  Grace ended up falling asleep on daddy.  Joshua started to get really congested as the night went on.  Then, he felt hot, started coughing, and developed a runny nose.  Oh no!  I gave you some tylenol and rubbed Vicks on your chest.  This was not a good evening.  I hope everyone feels better in the morning!

I love you both so much!

Big Tub

Dearest Precious Angels~

Today is only one month away until our scheduled C section on 12/12/12!  Are you all getting excited?  I'm guessing baby biscuit is because she kicks a lot.  :-)

Everyone had a good breakfast this morning.  Joshua ate all his cereal and Grace ate her waffle.  Then, we had play time upstairs and I did 40 minutes on the exercise bike.  When we came back downstairs for snack time, we saw a baby deer in the backyard.  Joshua spotted him!  Both of you all ate your snacks too .... applesauce and yogurt!  Then, we headed out to see Kim for speech therapy.

I played in the waiting room with Grace.  Little man, you did well with Kim.  We're adding more three syllable words to our homework list and a few four syllable ones.  These words are getting harder, but I think you can do it!  :-)

We headed to Gigi's for lunch afterward.  She had off since yesterday was Veterans Day.  You two ate so well!  You both had four pieces of chicken and a few chips!  Wow!  We also saw Uncle James.  While there, you two 'played' on Gigi's piano, drums, and chimes.  And, you all worked on your flash cards.  Grace, you're saying a bit more.  At one point, you said 'Gigi and mama' all by yourself without any prompting.  Way to go!

After play time, we headed upstairs for naps.  You both tried to resist it.  Grace, you went down first, and then Joshua. You were both snoring by 3pm .... including Uncle James.  :-P  Gigi and I visited and continually checked on all three of you all.  :-)

Once awake, we headed back and had dinner with daddy.  We played this evening.  Daddy helped you all with a new train track design.  I felt a little nauseous and laid on the couch while you all were building the track together.  Then, you all had a much overdue bath!  This was the first bath you two had in the big tub without the little tub!  You two are growing up so fast!

I love you both so much!

Veterans Day

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Today is Veterans Day .... it occurs every November 11th and it's a federal holiday to celebrate and honor those who have served in the armed forces.  You two have lots of relatives who have served in the armed forces!

This morning, we relaxed at breakfast as a family.  Then, we made our grocery list for the week, got ready, and did an early grocery run to Target.  You both ate some cookies while there.  ;-)  We looked at some Christmas trees.  We may get a big one for the living room later.  :-)

We were home before lunch and Grace fell asleep.  We cooked hotdogs and you two ate once Grace woke up.  Then, we got some chores done around the house.  We did laundry, changed the air filters, changed the light bulb in the hallway over the stairs, called and left a message for Pan for haircuts for you two, put away clothes that we were bagging earlier, and we put up the small Christmas tree that we have up in the play room.  I know it's early, but you two like the lights.  :-)

We had little time to play and watch a Mickey Mouse episode before the UNC basketball game.  Joshua, you got cranky from no nap.  I finally got you down and snoring by 4:15pm!  Grace, you rested next to Joshua and myself.  Daddy folded the laundry and watched the end of the game .... we won!

Mimi and Grandpa Mike came over a little after 5pm.  I had to wake Joshua.  We went out to eat dinner around the corner.  Joshua did pretty well with his mac and cheese.  Grace, you didn't eat much.  Once we got home, you both wanted crackers.  Why don't you two eat dinner at dinner time?  Ugh.  :-P

This evening we all relaxed.  My stomach didn't feel well, so I was glad to just lay down with you all.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

10 Year Reunion

Dearest Miracles~

You two were very slow at eating breakfast this morning.  I thought we would never leave the table.  :-P

Once we got ready for the day, we and headed out at 10am to Chapel Hill for a family outing!  Today is homecoming and it's our (daddy and I) 10 year reunion from college.  We were class of 2002 from undergrad!  It sure doesn't feel like it's been 10 years though!

What a day .... we got to Chapel Hill around 11am and couldn't find parking .... or we didn't have enough cash.  When did parking get so expensive?  My .... 10  years has caused a lot of inflation.  :-P  Joshua, you ended up getting hungry, so we drove into Carrboro but the wait was too long at the restaurant we were trying to get into.  So, we headed back to Chapel Hill and ate at Breadman's on Rosemary Street.  We ate there last Father's Day so we knew they would have food for you two.  We did manage to see a friend while there.  Brandon stopped by briefly on his way out of town so we got to catch up with him before he left.

When we left lunch, the football had already started, so the traffic had died down.  So, we drove around again and found parking on the other end of campus at the hospitals.  We had a lot of walking to make it to campus, but we had come so far we didn't want to leave empty handed.  ;-)

We ended up walking around the student stores and got a few things.  Then, we saw our friends Michael and Suma at the Pit outside the stores.  You two ran around and had fun collecting leaves and acorns from the trees.  Then Grace got grumpy.  It was getting late and no one had napped.  It was close to 4om when we left the Pit around and headed back to the van.  You two fell asleep on the ride home.  Once home (around 5:30pm), Grace was grumpy again and only wanted to be held.  Once we had some food out for dinner she calmed down and ate on daddy's lap.

Today was a long day, but overall you two did really well!  So, this evening we relaxed and played.  Oh, and my new support band for my back came in the mail today and it fits.  Woo hoo!  Hope it helps!  :-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Out For Milk

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

I was up early and read before you two woke.  Once you two were awake, we had a good breakfast and then you two played downstairs as I cleaned the kitchen and organized.  I found 5 sippy cups around the house from yesterday.  :-P

Once we were upstairs, I did a few chores as you two played and watched a Mickey Mouse.  Then, you both had your snacks and we headed out for speech therapy with Gloria.

You did well little man!  She gave us some homework to do.  She was impressed with how you're putting words together spontaneously now.  Way to go man!

Afterward, we made a quick stop to mail back the support band we ordered that didn't fit me.  The bigger one should arrive in the mail soon.  Then, we headed home for lunch.  You both ate well!  Woo hoo!

I had just enough time to do 40 minutes on the exercise bike as you two played.  Then, we read three books together for story time.  You two were napping by 1:45pm.

After naps we headed to Harris Teeter for milk.  We had none in the house.  :-P  I picked up a pizza for dinner and we got home at the same time as daddy.  You two both had a cookie at the grocery store.

After dinner we went upstairs for the season opener of the UNC basketball season!  Woo hoo!  We made a new train track design during half time.  Grace, you pretended you were on the phone (used a block) with Gigi.  Oh, and we won our game!  ;-)

I love you both so much!

Home Late

Dearest Blessings~

Everyone was awake and playing this morning though Grace had a crying fit when she woke.  :-P  She was all calm by the time Penny got here.

Joshua, you did nap for Penny today.  And, you did well with Quinn.  She's helping you say your name too so Penny was impressed with you today!  Way to go little man!

I got home extremely late .... it was pretty much 9pm.  I had one of our quarterly Provider's Meetings at work.  All the doctors and dentists in the organization have quarterly meetings to get updates from the senior team.  This meeting ran late.  Ugh!  It usually goes from 6pm to 8pm, but this one didn't end until almost 8:3pm.  Luckily, I'll be on maternity leave for the next one!  Woo hoo!

Speaking of pregnancy, one of the pediatrician's is also pregnant due to December.  She had her C section scheduled the other week and she's also schedule for 12/12/12!  She'll be at a different hospital though.  She's apparently due the 10th, but will try to hold on two days just for that date!  I told her 12/12/12 was my actual due date, which she thought was pretty cool!  :-)

You all had fun with daddy this evening.  You all watched some Mickey Mouse while daddy played the guitar for you all.  You also played some Wii games .... which Joshua now calls 'tv games.'  ;-)  Daddy got you all ready for bed before I got home.  You all were still awake when I got home, so I still got kisses .... which was the best part of my long day!

I love you both so much!

35 Weeks

Dearest Angels~

You both were awake and playing as daddy and I got ready for work.  So .... kisses for everyone!  Woo hoo!

Today we're 35 weeks gestation with baby biscuit!  So far so good.  Except, I'm having back aches everyday.  I hate just taking a tylenol all the time, so I ordered one of the pregnancy support bands that the OB mentioned last week.  It came in the mail today and guess what .... it was too small.  Whamp wha!  I didn't read all the reviews that said the sizes run small.  Ugh.  How disappointing.  So, I ordered another one online two sizes bigger just in case!  Hopefully it'll be here by the weekend.  I'll return this one.  I was so mad at myself.  :-P

I got home at 6:30pm.  Joshua, you apparently never napped for Penny.  :-P  Daddy had a meeting after work, so Grandpa Jim and Uncle James were here watching you two.  We all got to visit and then we played games upstairs.  You all played with blocks and then played some Wii games on the television.

Daddy was home by 7:30pm.  We relaxed upstairs before bedtime.  :-)

Election Day

Dearest Precious Gifts~

Today is Election Day.  The polls opened at 6:30am this morning and will stay open until 7:30pm.  We voted early on saturday, so we didn't have to go out, which I was happy about because today was a cold day .... high only in the 40's.  We didn't have Gloria for speech today, but we do have Quinn .... good thing she comes to our house.  ;-)

Grace, you were up early as daddy got ready for work.  Joshua woke shortly after daddy left.  We were downstairs with clean clothes/diapers and eating breakfast around 7am.  You both ate well again.

Then, we had some play time upstairs.  I managed to get in 40 minutes on the exercise bike.  You two had a good snack time afterward.  Joshua had a cup of applesauce and Grace had her yogurt.

Since you two ate well, I rewarded you all with a Mickey Mouse episode.  Then, I put music on and we worked on a new train track design.  I was disappointed because we ended up with a dead end.  Then, I realized Grace had hidden 11 pieces!  Nudge!  ;-)  Once I found the missing pieces we used them all with no dead ends!  Go us!  :-)

Once we got the train track done, we came downstairs for lunch and you two did well again.  I made my lunches for work this week as you two played.  We headed upstairs for story time and I read you all four books.  Grace, you fell asleep while I was reading.  Joshua, you fell asleep shortly afterward by 1:10pm.  I read as you two napped.

After naps we all had quick snacks before Quinn got here for speech therapy.  You did well little man!  We went through all our words and now we have new ones to work on.  There are three syllable words that are harder than the rest.  So, we'll need to practice a lot.

I cooked dinner as you two played.  We had eggs, bacon, and toast.  We ate dinner once daddy was home.  Then, we relaxed and watched the results of the 57th presidential race.  Daddy played guitar and I took some photographs.  I got some advice from friends on the camera forum that I belong to online.  I also posted a photograph for some more advice/critic.

We ended up going to bed before results were decided, but I woke in the middle of the night and checked.  Obama won a second term but it was close.

Birthday Play

Dearest Miracles~

Today is Uncle James's 34th birthday!  Woo hoo!  We celebrated yesterday, but we'll see him later in the day too.

Grace, you scared the crap out of me last night!  You curled up in our bed to sleep .... surprise .... but then you rolled off the bed in the middle of the night!  We were so lucky you didn't break anything!  That was a pretty good fall for someone your size!  You cried so I rocked you back to sleep, but there was no bleeding or visible bruises .... thank God!

Everyone ate their breakfast this morning with no fuss!  Wow!  Afterward, we went upstairs to play and I did 40 minutes on the exercise bike.  I might have to start decreasing minutes on the bike depending on the last few weeks of the pregnancy.

After the bike, we came back downstairs for snacks and I cooked hotdogs as you all ate for lunch later.  Both of you two gobbled your snacks .... applesauce and yogurt.  Whoa!  Good eating so far!

As a reward, we watched a Mickey Mouse episode.  I tried to clean/organize some things in the playroom.  Then, we headed out for speech with Kim.  Grace and I played in the waiting room.  You did really well with Kim today and she was very impressed with you little man!  You went through all our words and you put three word phrases together by yourself.  She wants to do a re-evaluation on you in a few months to see how far you've come.  I'm so proud of you!  :-)

We made it home for a late lunch.  You all had some hotdogs that I cooked earlier.  Grace, you also had about 2/3 of a banana!  Once you two ate, we cleaned the upstairs and then headed out to see Uncle James for his birthday!  We tried to get you two to nap but you both fought it.  Joshua, you eventually went down late for about an hour.  Grace, you kept crying for Gigi.  Oh my!

Once awake, Gigi and Grandpa Jim were there.  We all ate dinner and wished Uncle James a happy birthday!  You all did a lot of playing with cars, flash cards, blocks, and stuffed animals.  You two had fun!  We gave Uncle James his gifts yesterday .... a book and a calendar.

Daddy had a late soccer meeting after work, so we me him at home a little before 8pm.  I put a rail up on the bed, so hopefully we won't have anymore falling.  Of course, you also need to learn to sleep in your own bed little lady.  :-P

I love you both so much!

Gained An Hour

Dearest Joshua David and Grace Elizabeth~

Today is Daylight Savings so we set all our clocks last night so we would wake up to the correct time.  Here's how you remember how to set your clock .... 'Spring forward and Fall back' .... therefore, we 'fell back' one hour.  So, we gained an hour today!  Woo hoo!

I felt sick last night again.  Ugh.  I'm wondering if it's pregnancy related and not just something I ate.  I haven't been eating healthy recently, so it's hard to tell.  :-P

Guess what .... we had deer in our backyard this morning!  We saw at least 4.  It looked like a little family and one of the babies was really close to the house.  :-)

We took advantage of the extra hour to help up get ready for church.  We got there a little early.  We got to see Gigi play in the Praise Team and then she sat with us.  Grandpa Jim and Uncle James weren't there, but you two drew with Gigi and had some snacks during the sermon.  :-)

After church, we came back to our house for a birthday lunch with Gigi, Grandpa Jim, and Uncle James.  Tomorrow is Uncle James's birthday, so we celebrated today.  We ordered some pizza and had some ice cream cake.  Yummy!

Uncle Brennan came over right before nap time and helped daddy take down the broken microwave and install the new one!  Woo hoo!  In the meantime, Uncle James, Gigi, and Grandpa Jim helped put you two down for naps.  You were both snoring by 2pm.  Uncle Brennan and Grandpa Jim left shortly after.  Daddy and I visited with Gigi and Uncle James.  Uncle James made a new train track design while you all slept.

Once you two woke, we relaxed a little and then had leftovers for dinner.  My stomach was still risky, so I had toast and took some medications.  I ended up falling asleep on the couch briefly while you two played with daddy in the play room.  :-P

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

Voted

Dearest Blessings~

Wow .... we got a lot of chores done this morning.  You all helped us catch up on some laundry, sweep and vacuum the downstairs, and then clean the kitchen.  There are some upstairs chores that need to be done, but we'll tackle them later.  ;-)

Afterward, we ran some errands.  First, we picked up our new microwave from Sears.  Daddy ordered it online a few days ago.  We will need to install it at some point, but we'll wait for some help.  A lady at Sears asked us if you two were twins.  We get asked that a lot since you two are so close in age.  :-)

Second, we headed to Target for some groceries.  You two ate some cookies though Joshua threw up one because he shoved it all in his mouth at once .... yuck!  We tried to do early voting after but the lines were too long.

So, we came back home, unloaded, and ate some lunch.  I made some mac and cheese which Joshua ate.  Grace napped once home and then ate lunch when she woke.  After lunch, we went upstairs and Joshua took his nap.  Grace, you played so nicely as Joshua slept.

Once everyone was awake, we went back out to do early voting again.  This is a presidential election year so if we didn't vote today, we still had election day on tuesday (november 6th).  We still didn't time it that well and ended up waiting in line for 1.5 hours .... but you two did well!  Daddy and I got to vote and everyone got a sticker!  You two got stickers that said 'future voter' on it.  ;-)  We'll see on tuesday who will be the next president of the United States .... Mitt Romney or Barack Obama (current president)!  :-)

Since we were out, we ate dinner around the corner at 'Big Al's' which is a BBQ place.  It was almost 7pm by the time we ate and everyone was hungry.  It was after 8pm when we got home .... we all put on pajamas and then relaxed!  Tomorrow's daylight savings so we remembered to set our clocks before going to bed.  :-)

I love you both so much!

Good OB Visit

Dearest Precious Gifts~

Whew!  We had an early OB appointment this morning to check on baby biscuit.  Uncle James came over to watch you two as I headed out.

The appointment went well!  We're just over 34 weeks gestation.  My blood pressure was staying steady at 110/60.  They checked my iron and it was a healthy 13.4.  My weight is now 165.4 lbs which is just a pound more than two weeks ago.  :-)  No protein was detected and our uterine height is measuring 35cm.  Baby biscuit, your fetal heart rate is 144.  :-)  It's so cool to hear your heart beat at each appointment!  We have one more two week check and then we'll be on weekly appointments.  We're getting so close and all four of us are so excited to get to meet you little biscuit!  :-)

Since the appointment went smoothly, I was home early.  I folded laundry as you all played with Uncle James.  You all had a great snack time with applesauce and yogurt.  Since you all ate so well, we went upstairs and showed Uncle James and Wii games.  You all even helped create a Wii character for him.  ;-)

We all ate lunch out and then headed to Gigi's house for diapers and naps.  Grace, you looked for Gigi as soon as you walked in the door, but she was at work.  Uncle James helped get you two down for naps and you all were snoring by 2pm.

Once awake, Gigi was home and we got to visit for a while as you two ate a snack.  Joshua, you got to see the fish and snail.  :-)

We made it back home for dinner with daddy.  Then, we played a few Wii games this evening.  I took some photographs of you all.  Daddy helped me create a spreadsheet so I could organize all future appointments until the end of the year.  We want to be prepared with emergency contacts in case baby biscuit comes early.

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!

More Desserts

Dearest Angels~

Grace, you were up early as we were getting ready for work.  However, you weren't grumpy like you were yesterday morning.  Joshua, you were, again, still sleeping when I left.  But, I managed to give you kisses before I left.

You all had fun with Penny today.  You were able to get to the park and have some fun.  Quinn didn't come today since she was out of town.  Joshua, you never napped for Penny though .... you only 'rested' for her.  :-P

I got home really late this evening .... 7pm.  Oh, but I only have 9 more working days until I'm on vacation!  Woo hoo!  And by vacation, I mean maternity leave.  ;-)  I got stuck at the local railroad tracks and saw a train go by.  I also brought home a lot of cupcakes and cookies from work for you two.  :-)

We all relaxed this evening and watched the Charlie Brown special 'The Great Pumpkin' that we recorded.

Baby biscuit, you kicked a lot again today.  I hope everything goes well for your appointment tomorrow!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you both so much!
