Early Bird

Dearest Joshua David~

Hello early bird!  I don't know what happened, but around 2am this morning you started crying and couldn't calm yourself until one of us picked you up.  We put you in our bed to sleep and you snuggled up next to us for the rest of the night.  The good news is that you continued to sleep .... the bad news is that it took daddy and I a while to go back to sleep and we both needed to go to work today!  Needless to say we were both tired!  

You had fun with Penny though .... you ate some green beans and more apple sauce.  You apparently had a good appetite today.  

Penny got you some block toys!  They have the letters of the alphabet on them and she was showing you how to stack them.  But, she said you mostly threw them.  We'll work on that, ok?  :-P  You're doing better at placing things inside a box and then taking them out though.  

You also took two little naps for Penny, had music time, and some story time.  She read you some more Bible stories from your Toddler Bible.  :-)

You and daddy were playing in the bonus room when I drove up.  I stopped at Chick-fil-A to bring home some dinner for daddy and I .... there was a fundraiser there so that part of the proceeds went to MOPS!  Woo hoo!

After dinner, you had your usual bath and then we relaxed in the bonus room.  We all fell asleep kind of early since you woke us at 2am.  Hopefully you'll sleep better tonight.  :-P

Tomorrow you and I can play together all day!  Sleep tight little one!
